Good news everyone. The top break didn't blow up and was actually rather pleasant to shoot. The sights were terrible, but almost all of them are on those old guns. Y'all can probably find the video of me shooting it if ya dig through the info posted about me cause I was a boomer and didn't follow internet safety.

You're pretty much asking to get Dequan's old fotay.
earlier today i was thinking to myself, "man, you know what would be really funny? buying a hipoint. i wish i could buy a hipoint for an even shittier amount of money." after shipping they wanted 69. jung and the gay oblivion blackula were right about synchronicity.

That's great news.

My $60 Midway glock barrel ate 200 rounds of Magtech steel case, 100 rounds of brass case and 30 rounds of defensive ammo without a single malfunction or catastrophic failure. How is a budget part this good?

Was it made by midway? How does accuracy compare between that and the factory one? Keep me posted though

It's one of Midway's in house brands. For Glocks, it's Swenson and for AR's it's AR-Stoner. I mainly got it because it was threaded and I have a supressor on the way. Accuracy wise it's pretty similar to factory. You can hit a center mass size target at defensive range with it pretty easily with suppressor sights.

More and more people smell trouble in the air. I have people I know who have never shown an interest in firearms asking me what sort of gun they should buy just in case something crazy happens.
This has been ongoing since 2020. The summer of love really made a lot of people sit up and go "huh, I should have a gun." My mom approached me a while ago asking for purchasing advice on a gun for home defense, she had previously expressed no interest whatsoever in firearms. I took her to a gun show and she walked out with an M&P EZ (great gun to study as an example of focused design and marketing to firearm novices btw, every single aspect of its design is made to both leave a good first impression and make normies not only effective shooters, but make them want to shoot) and we even go to the range together now. She just asked me when the next gun show is because she wants to buy a case of ammo (and make me carry it back to the car lol).

Someone too the "two is one, one is none" rule a wee bit too far.
Soulless tools, and I don’t want to switch to a different type when I break one.

330 rounds isn’t a lot of ammo especially for pistol pressures. It will take a long time to wear out a pistol barrel, even a “budget” one.

"There's not any reason to own anything other than what I have, so I will buy 3 of them and inform others that they don't need to waste their money, they could just buy the same guns I have."

Very un-rad of you, actually.
