Another option for a lightweight 22LR bolt action is the Bergara Micro Rimfire. They're about 5 pounds with the carbon fiber barrel.

it's determined by volume and method of transport and set by federal regulation for interstate commerce in 49 CFR somewhere for DOT stuff (https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-49/subtitle-B/chapter-I/subchapter-C/part-171). there's 4 major parts: admin/processing, inspection, volatility, and volume/mass. about the only way to "save" is to be in the regular business of handling explosives (with a FEL, or a SOT endorsement on your current FFL, which i have) or be a manufacturer or receiver of explosive or hazardous materials in the due course of business where you pay a pro-rated flat fee each quarter or year. superfund sites also get some special rules. DOT has some fees if you need specific handling or chemical safety requirements too.Where do you guys order primers or powder I'm gonna order some percussion caps and wondering if the 40 dollar hazmat fee is the norm. I know there's gonna be a hazmat fee but not sure if 40 is high or normal.
rip.I hope nobody here wanted a Beretta 1301 anytime soon because the ATF just decided they aren't sporting enough.

On the plus side, they're just going to import them with 5 round tubes and sell you the extension(if it's ever in stock, thanks Beretta).rip.
i hope it's an extension compatible with Benelli shotguns. make life easier. On the plus side, they're just going to import them with 5 round tubes and sell you the extension(if it's ever in stock, thanks Beretta).
More likely than not they'll reproduce the tube from the first 1301 iteration, they still offer the extension for that.i hope it's an extension compatible with Benelli shotguns. make life easier.
its normal and its why its better to buy in bulk. Lately I've been buying from Republic ammunition for primers.Where do you guys order primers or powder I'm gonna order some percussion caps and wondering if the 40 dollar hazmat fee is the norm. My father's B22 does the FTE thingI like my B22, but I can see how your past experience may put you off - I've got a few thousand through mine with the only issue being occasional FTEs when the chamber gets dirty. If you have the cash for it, the CZ 457 is pretty fantastic, but also not particularly lightweight.
Seems like a solid option but maybe a bit pricey. I'll have to look around at reviews and group testing as I doubt the quality of chambers since many places prioritize an "omnivorous" gun.Another option for a lightweight 22LR bolt action is the Bergara Micro Rimfire. They really are just copying absolutely everything the West invents without looking into the why, reminds me of their keyholing bullpups since they somehow didn't realize twist rates actually matter.
quick someone shill them 1 in 3 as the latest in US firearms development
What should I be using to keep my gun lubricated? I keep it stored in a rifle pack in my closet behind some clothes. I’ve been using breakthrough spray solvent and their clear oil like a noob. After doing a field strip clean after shooting I’ll apply oil to the gun toothbrush and apply a thin coat to all friction surfaces inside the bcg and receiver.
I’ve noticed it dries up after sitting for a week and I have to reapply before going to shoot. Since it’s laying flat no lubrication travels into the buffer system. I’m considering the idea of switching to a jelly or lube after applying solvent and oil. Would installing a standing rifle rack assist in lubricating my trigger group pins and buffer?
Nano Gun Oil. it works like a less viscous frog lube and performs very well in competition handguns that are very tight fitting or in carry pieces that experience salt corrosion from sweat. other than those two properties it's not significantly better than CLP or similar. the biggest benefit is that it's fully synthetic and contains no solvents that might mess with finishes or other materials, which is nice on old guns.since we're talking about gun lube here, has anybody know of that gun lubricant thats made by a single guy who posts on /k/? frankly all I remember about it is that its suspiciously white-colored but i've always been curious to how well it performs.
Late, but yeah. Welcome to American gun laws, which are basically all fucking retarded. You can own a CAR-15 clone, but by the time you're done with the paperwork, might as well have bought a regular 16 inch AR, way less hassle. It's stupid, but is the way it is.Darn shame. It’s a decent home defence weapon.
I hate that people who are privileged to live in gated communities or travel with bodyguards get to restrict the way normal people defend themselves and their loved ones especially when police response times have worsened in some areas over the past 5 years.
With the chinks, I wouldn't be surprised. They know how to imitate, not innovateI'm pretty sure it's the Chink's NEW rifle that's having keyholing issues. The one that is basically a piston AR knock-off that they adopted to replace their bullpups
