no, but gunsmiths have converted Beretta 96's to 10mm.
Edit: the conversion is done by removing material from the inside of the mag well for a EAA witness 10mm mag to fit because the standard .40 mag is too short. then a new barrel is made and in theory you are good to go.
there are some issues though:
- the slide does not cycle back far enough for you to top load the chamber and likes to jam on ejection because of the lack of space for the ejecting case
- the amount of material removed inside the frame may cause weakness
- 10mm is of course higher pressure than .40 (when loaded properly) and is cutting into the safety margin of the locking block
Beretta could definitely make a 10mm 96 work properly if they wanted to IMO, but it would likely require more than a simple conversion for them to be happy with it. it'd more likely be a new model entirely.
