Got the Ruger Mk IV Hunter in. Not bad. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a hefty chunk of stainless steel for .22 LR shenanigans. Look around for a good price before you commit; some places online charge insulting prices for these.

I have the standard MkIV. its very nice. i have a few k worth of .22 so far and the only failures have been ammunition related. I do not like the mecgar mags i bought for it though. they are so stiff i need a loading tool to use them. the stock ruger mags are a lot less stiff.

I love these things, they have a cool shape and I bet you could sci-fi the design up to make it look like some kind of dope space blaster pretty easily

Edit: hell yeah you can

I've got the MkIV Lite and it's pretty sci-fi as delivered. Add some Tandemkross shit (and I strongly recommend the Volquartsen extractor just because the factory one sucks ass) and it's straight into spacegat territory.

Got to shoot a buddies 7.62 draco this weekend. Tiny, tiny barrel.
Let me tell you guys, very few guns have I encountered my entire life that I have fired a handful of rounds out of and handed back going, "Nah dude, I'm good."
I have no idea how hood rats blow through whole magazines without having to learn ASL.
Even through ear pro, out in the woods for sound dampen, the concussive force from it made you blind and deaf for half a second, knocked the fucking phlegm out of your lungs. That little draco is a fucking thumper. If the first round doesn't hit, the noise'll make em split.
So it really solidifies that I am, in fact, getting the PSA Krink with the longest barrel I can muster and then also putting some more on the front.

I wish someone would get a hold of the patent for the Whitney Wolverine and beef it up to like a .380 or 9mm.

It's such a sexy art-deco/sci-fi inspired gun. Kinda reminds me of the secret senator blaster pistols hidden in the chair in Episode 1. I want ten.

the Ruger could probably handle 32ACP or 380. maybe. the design is fundamentally a copy of Kijiro Nambu's pistol which Bill ruger was able to obtain a example of as a bring back from WW2. the first prototypes are very similar to a baby nambu and the familial resembles of the production guns is still strong.

That's a nice one. I've got the old school commie equivalent, a Margolin MCM. Basically this but with nicer grips:

It's also unironically a space gat because it was used for Leia's blaster in the old Star Wars.

Alright, I efiled an an individual for a surefire 22 ryder at my local shop when they opened. I've got a timer running on how long it takes from when I left the store to get the phone call that it's gone through. :aug::deagleleft::deagle::augleft:
Took 75 hours, while my buddy who has 4 cans he ordered in december hasn't even gotten a reviewer yet lmfao

Back in the early 2000s Olympic Arms was making a copy of the Wolverine for a short while, but nowhere near as nice since it was made of polymer mostly.

So earlier this month the UK passed a law that will ban the sale of tobacco to anyone born after 2008. This means that when someone born in 2009 turns 18, the tobacco purchasing age will be 19, when they turn 19 it will be 20, and so on, meaning they will never be legally sold cigarettes.

I'm wondering: Is this something that the anti-gun crowd might take inspiration from? It's sneaky because it's not technically a ban, the legal age to buy would just be raised by one year every year until everyone is "underage".

I also don't think them trying this is as unlikely as you might think, as a similar tobacco purchasing ban was recently upheld as lawful in Massachusetts. What would happen if, say, California tried to implement a similar ban for guns? Having legal age limits to purchase firearms (i.e 18 for rifles and shotguns and 21 for handguns) isn't considered to be in violation of the second amendment, so could a perpetual increase in the legal age to purchase stand up in court?

I could also see them trying this because it won't stop anyone who can currently legally buy guns from continuing to do so, and it's much easier to sell a ban that will stop other people from doing things than a ban that would apply to everyone.

Supposedly the Whitney’s designer actually had something like that he wanted to make called the “Trimatic”, but it never came to fruition:

I miss seeing weapons that are useful and beautiful (capable of effective self defense instead of just a range toy.) The current era of plastic 9s does nothing for me. That TriMatic would have been an instant purchase for me if it had been real.

Looks fucking cool but fixed barrel makes me think it's going to kick like a mule. Guess it's got better weight distribution than a revolver, that probably helps.
