My Bushmaster makes one hell of a fireball and it's pretty damn accurate even when I'm not trying. Managed to hit a (stationary) clay pigeon at 50 yards with irons. Also I like shooting my snub nose .38 more than I expected and the +P defensive ammo didn't even hurt my wrist. Overall good range day. Just wish the rain didn't cut it short.

Yeah, his emails are annoying. I lost count of how many times he'd claim he was selling some stuff "almost at a loss" or whatever. If the prices he was selling stuff at were that insanely low, how did other retailers manage to sell their stuff at similar (or less) prices? I haven't purchased anything from him since May of 2020, and I doubt I ever will again.

Damn I haven't heard that name in a minute. For good reason too. Talk about a place pulling a record time 180 on customer relations. I ordered from them a ton around 2018ish timeframe. Relegated their emails to the spam folder in 2020. Almost all ammo suppliers were shitheads during the coof, but Cheaper than Dirt really took that shit and ran.

Agreed, I personally have had decent luck with Lucky Gunner. Ammo in general is, at least for the calibers I shoot, pretty samey.

However, Fenix ammo is a fucking boomer through and though. Ugh

Did Hickok really say that? Given his age, I wouldn't be surprised. A lot of boomers had that same position. "Bumpstocks are pointless toys, just let the antigun folks have this win, we have more important things to worry about." The same kind of guys who don't get upset at mag capacity limit laws because their 1911 mags can't even hold 10 anyway.

On list of terrible ideas, I'm in that mental period of blowing cash I can swing but a M1870 Vetterli is saying buy me.. and I could spend that on a lot cooler shit, like that FAL I promised my self or go grab the m1a scout I wanted because it's cool.

thanks man and i feel i need to give back. This is a auction house a buddy in CA told me about, from what i can tell its mostly boomers, but every once and a while they get some weird and cool stuff, and because its not a lever action or a colt sometimes they sell for good prices, saw 2 svt for 2 grand, lee enfield that go for 1600 on gunbroker sold for 750 on there, even saw a 308 magnum research pistol on the last one. if your in the market for older milsurp you might save a few hundred bucks.

I've found some decent deals from SGA recently - most notably a shitload of M118LR shipped in .30 cal ammo cans for only a bit more than basic bitch M80, but they definitely moved to put their prices in line with everyone else.

Found out that my Howa 1500 really likes that M118LR so I stocked up at the time.

You must be young, I ditched CtD in 2013 when they pulled a fast one after Sandy Hook and cancelled orders of $15 pmags in favor of people who paid $50+ as they jacked up the prices to profit off of demand.
