Oh I don't deny Glock has pros. Tooless disassemble is nice. Thing is I can buy a glock at any time if I want that. I like the feel of the M&P frame over glock, and having cleaned the .22 model for my brother, assuming they are similar, the M&P isn't that painful to take down in comparison to some guns I've worked with.Snip.
That and out of pistols I think of that should be 40 cal, the M&P 2.0 is absolutely classic in it. That was THE police 40 cal for years. I like the history.
If I get a glock, it's probably in 9mm, something like that so I can use the long 33 round magazines for shits and giggles. That is one thing I'll give Glock, their mags are ubiquitous and cheap.
I don't deny they have pros. Glocks are tough cookies. But I just LIKE other pistols. Glocks are neither pretty or ugly to me, they simply are, very plain. For me that is a deal breaker until I get other guns first.
