Oh I don't deny Glock has pros. Tooless disassemble is nice. Thing is I can buy a glock at any time if I want that. I like the feel of the M&P frame over glock, and having cleaned the .22 model for my brother, assuming they are similar, the M&P isn't that painful to take down in comparison to some guns I've worked with.

That and out of pistols I think of that should be 40 cal, the M&P 2.0 is absolutely classic in it. That was THE police 40 cal for years. I like the history.

If I get a glock, it's probably in 9mm, something like that so I can use the long 33 round magazines for shits and giggles. That is one thing I'll give Glock, their mags are ubiquitous and cheap.

I don't deny they have pros. Glocks are tough cookies. But I just LIKE other pistols. Glocks are neither pretty or ugly to me, they simply are, very plain. For me that is a deal breaker until I get other guns first.
 
There's also more friction to switch to or from Glock than with most other handguns. If you have a lot of muscle memory with other guns, your first round or two is going into the rafters if you're not paying attention to your sights. Not a big deal on the range, maybe a big deal in an "I'm being attacked and need to return fire." situation.
 
Well, Youtube did it. They killed guntube. Their new policy is prior to June 18th, if you have gun-related sponsorships, they kill that video. After June 18th, they kill your channel. So years and years of guntube videos with SDI and AAC sponsorships are now haram.

They didn't even go this retarded when a psycho vegan took a gun to Youtube headquarters and started shooting people there.

I'm going to wait and see how this actually affects guntubers. One rep telling Hickok one thing and apparently no one else(FW uploaded a Guns.com sponsored video earlier today) reminds me of ATF field agents passing their own interpretations off as official policy. And we all know how much Big Tech companies love to announce a draconian policy and then walk it back just enough to keep people around.

I missed at first but this is effective from JUNE 18th. So LAST month, they're back dating their policy and basically saying "Why didn't you comply to our policy before we made it?". Total youtube death, gay retard faggot shit has to go.

I think the greatest bargain I got on a used gun was a USP, must've been a safe queen because it only had a slight wear around the trigger guard from a holster came with 4 mags and got it for $569 also it was in the old grey hard plastic case that had the slogan they got sued over and had to stop using.
 
Here is the new Youtube gun policy. The relevant section I believe was quoted to Hickok is:

"Links in the title or description of your video to sites where firearms or the accessories noted above are sold. You can link to sites that discuss or review the items as long as those sites don’t sell or give away those items directly."

The accessories listed:

"- Accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire,
- Accessories that convert a firearm to automatic fire, such as: bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, or conversion kits,
- High capacity magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds."

Also banned:

"- Showing users step-by-step instructions on how to finish a lower receiver in order to complete fabrication of a firearm.
- Live streams that feature someone holding or handling a firearm, regardless of whether or not they are firing it. Note: this does not include firearms in video games.
- Live streams that feature someone transporting firearms from place to place, such as by carrying them or traveling with them by car, truck, or other vehicle. Note: this does not include firearms in video games."

So something like guns.com sells guns AND banned accessories like 110 round drum mags in .22 LR. SDI doesn't sell guns or accessories, but they do teach you how to manufacture guns so it could be argued that they aren't allowed either if Youtube doesn't allow you to show someone how to machine an 80% lower or instruct in any firearm manufacturing. You also are not allowed to post content teaching someone how to manufacture ammunition (reloading probably counts).

I am not optimistic that other guntubers will get a different answer than Hickok. Fucking jewtube.

Would've been nice if they went after the two biggest problems in guntubes which are:
those fucking faggot shorts where some detached hand does a bunch of faggot asmr shit and doesn't talk about the gun or it's history or anything they just plop a box of ammo on a picnic table and load.......each.....round.....slowly....to milk.......the time, and other being all those fake as fuck asset stealing channels with clickbaity titles GUHHNNSSSSYOUNEEDFROMSHAWTSHOW2026!!!!!1!11!!!1 (#4 will SHAWK UUU) with thumbnails that are either AI or stolen from somewhere else swear to god I saw a channel once that had a video and the fucking thumnail was of an Ares Predator from Shadowrun granted that would be kinda cool if an ares predator was real but one can hope ok rant over fuck those grifting faggots.
