My most retarded idea for a range toy if money was no object is a full-auto Origin 12 with a custom-built front grip to accommodate an M-203 grenade launcher.

Origin 12 is already the fastest cycling shotgun available. Yes, even faster than the AA-12 despite being semi-auto. You just need to git gud with that trigger finger, son! I fucking love my Origin 12 and I've never been a big fan of shotguns. Always preferred rifles. Seriously thinking of doing a Form 1 on mine and getting the 10" barrel and a SilencerCo Salvo for it.

Get an SP2022
I've probably written in the thread about how the Sig SP2009 was my first pistol. I carried it in a Galco holster and thought I was the man. If I remember correctly I bought it because a local shop had a good deal on one and a character had one in Resident Evil 3 (I've been a faggot for a very long time, as you can see).
The CZ75 is overrated, especially the SP-01.

Buy HK instead.
Heresy!
.350 legend is everything .300 blackout should have been
How do you figure?
Anyone here have experience with .357 Sig(gers)?
Another member posted much of what I was going to write about it. I've fired it some and I liked it. It's akin to 9mm magnum. Aftermarket support and factory ammo availability are issues, as the other member pointed out. Frankly, if one wants a very hot 9mm I think going with something like 9mm Major (a relatively simple barrel replacement for some pistols) or 9x23 Winchester would be better options.
M1 Carbine converted to pump action
...dafuq?

@ToEnsureVerification no clue why the quote function isn't working for your post but I'm in a similar boat regarding the M&P and red dot sights. Do you have an optics ready slide on yours? The two that I have don't so I'll need to send them out. I think I asked for suggestions for that previously but I forgot what people said so I'll take any new or repeated suggestions, please. I asked S&W if I could buy just an optics ready slide from them and they told me to get fucked.

I know he’s somewhat of a “troll”/controversial figure but that skinny jean wearing Lucas Botkin (T-Rex Arms Guy) was xeeting the other day that he was supposedly “training his local swat team” or something

And he said that irons are dumb/gay and that the guys with red dots were just far more accurate and that they seemed to be more “intuitive” with their firearms. I wouldn’t know because I’m profoundly retarded and never sat down to figure out how to properly zero the red dot I have for my AR or the swampfox I have for my 43x…so I’ve just been working with irons for the last several years.
Update: I have finally started using my Sig Romeo 5 with my AR. I have had my backup sights zeroed to about 25yds and I simply put the red dot on and “lollipopped” the red dot in line with the backup sights.

It’s definitely more intuitive, shooting a rifle with a dot.

I don't see it. 350 legend offers a good bit of punch, but it's firmly supersonic. 300 Blackout adapts better to subsonic roles in general among cartridges, it's why it was made.

Two SAWs from two different eras, the M60 and the M249. Take your pick on which you'd carry into a firefight. Personally I'd take the M60 if it was upgraded to the E4, less jams, more range, and more importantly, makes you look like Rambo

E6 for me, but if we're picking and choosing I'd take an M240G over either of these.

Can you all imagine humping an original M60 plus its ammo through the jungles in Vietnam? Goddamn.

That would have been rough, the OG M60 was a monster. That and the semi bullpen layout made shouldering it weird and tiring. The M240 has the advantage of being conventional

Isn’t the M60 actually slightly lighter than the M240G?
I've never had them side by side but I think they're real close to the same weight empty.

Thread tax: remember how I got the Ruger MkIV Hunter a few months back? I finally got the Volquartsen upgrades installed. It was nice enough without them but now it's a whole lot better. No more magazine disconnect either.

It went from this:

But it's still a Ruger. Check out these gouges in the frame of a $700+ pistol. Thanks a lot whatever faggot at the factory did this.

@SHIGGSHOGG "ability to use bullets double the weight of .300 subs"
-The heaviest I've seen those is 255 grains. Most common subs for 300 BLK I've seen are 220. Anyway, I agree it could be a better caliber for shooting people with a suppressed rifle, but don't forget 300 BLK has been around for like 16 years and it works well in SBRs. As I've said before, 300 BLK is a very niche caliber but for 0-150 yds it's dam hard to beat.

they'd probably replace it if you sent it back. They gave me a new cylinder for a wrangler for free despite me fucking up the first one semi-intentionally.

An entire Sheriff's department in Montana has been outfitted with compensated pistols

Electronic fire rate control is something I could see incorporated into the machineguns of the future, coupled with constant recoil they would be laser beams

Integrally suppressed, yet with a modular suppressor system

Lastly, James Reeves (of TFBTV) said in a reply on X that there are "major releases" coming from Glock in 2025
The only things I can think of are
-Gen 6 (but what would it even include?)
-Maybe 20rnd Glock made G44 mags as James was using some kind of high capacity mag in that FA G44 video he made that went viral
-Glock stops being stupid and released the MOS-X series guns to the public (for those unaware, Glock makes pistols with direct mount optic cuts under the names MOS-1/2/3 etc etc for different footprints but for whatever reason refuses to sell them to civilians)
-Redux of the 43X and 48 to include 1.5x stack technology
-Maybe that Glock MRDS that Tactical Rifleman mentioned offhandedly like 4 years ago
-Release of the Glock AR that there exists like one picture of that failed the UKSF contract trials to the public.
Any other ideas?

Anyone going to pick up an OCL Infinity when it comes out? I want one.

Anyone got some recs for a cheapo red dot? I bought a second hand TX22 for plinking and I don't want to drop too much on glass for a Taurus. It's not competition but it is optics ready, RMSC footprint
primary arms classic 21mm MRS or SIG Romeo Zero might be the cheapest one i'd be willing to use regularly since a red dot can often be moved around if needed. if you don't mind always on and simpler (less) features, Vector Optics has a $60 model that is suitable for a .22 and plinking use all day long. https://www.opticsplanet.com/vector-optics-frenzy-s-1x16x22-aut-red-dot-sight.html
