Heat, 2025 remake.

Yeah, the guy whose hobby and career revolves around guns might be, possibly, just a tad bit right-leaning. Who could have seen this coming! Redditors are some of the stupidest motherfuckers on the planet. It is safe to assume that anyone not far-left and is into guns, is some sort of right-winger.

Shot my first actual competition, wow, loads of fun. Maybe I'll go to faggot gay asshole brutality and get aids.

Seriously though, it put me over the top on picking up an LTT 92 Elite that I've been thinking about for years. 8 weeks wait is gonna be brutal.

The Vector looks amazing. What caliber?

It's a 9mm and a Gen 3, which is the most up-to-date Generation. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, though I do want to put a different stock on it, and I'll add some other things to it eventually like a flashlight.

And I ended up getting a host for my Ryder 22-S suppressor today. One of my local bang shops, a shop I haven't been inside of in over a decade but used to be one of my main shops back in the day, had a Franklin Armory F22 pistol in stock today when I stopped in on a whim. After thinking it over, I went home and grabbed my SIG P226 TacOps and it's magazines and took it in to see what I could get for it in trade. Ever since getting my Staccato P I haven't touched the SIG and it's just been collecting dust in my gun locker, and with SIG's reputation going down the shitter over the past few years I decided to part with it for something I'll actually use. It wasn't a straight trade, I did have to pay a little out of pocket to make up the difference, but it was far less than I would have paid for even the most basic Ruger Charger model. And now my imagination is racing with all the possibilities in how I might customize it. First thing will be an optic and magazines, and eventually a good chassis and upgraded barrel. The only thing I wish it did have is the takedown barrel feature, but it's a fair tradeoff for everything it does come with, especially the binary trigger pack and being tuned to run in binary mode out of the box.

been able to go shooting more lately; i'm pretty happy with the RXM. i've had a weird thing with pulling a ship of theseus on glock clones and i replaced the trigger bar, safety plunger, and connector with the overwatch precision NP3'd glock OEM parts including a minus connector. while i haven't shot it yet dry firing has been remarkably nicer. put an old TLR8AG on there for now but it might not stay on there. i'd like to carry it but have to look around for holsters and want to go another 500 rounds through it with the new parts to be sure.

I wonder if the slide is close enough to a G19 to use a holster made for one, or if you'll have to buy one specific to the RXM. If you can use ALL Glock accessories on it that would kick so much ass.

i read that they should fit G19 holsters without issue but there are some built for the RXM. i imagine it may be more particular if you're rocking a light. it kinda fit a dagger holster accommodating a TLR8 but would pop up just enough to not be worth it.

330gr 45 muzzle flash.webp

Above is the Muzzle Flash of Elmer Kieth's "Killing load" a roughly 300 grain slug being pushed by 35 grains of black powder. Mine is a 330 grain hard cast long nose flat point. its very slightly tapered, almost a full wadcutter. this wide meplat has good effect on game animals. This load should pass through a bear mouth to ass. It has a pretty good amount of recoil, but being blackpowder, it is more of a push than a shock. very pleasant. I could shoot it all day but the gun gets too hold to hold after about 18 rounds. Black powder burns extremely hot.
+p .45 muzzle flash.webp

This is the muzzle flash of my .45 colt +P "manstopper" load being fired from a Colt Anaconda. its a 225 grain hornady .452 FTX pushed by 27 grains H110. Recoil is similar to the 330 grain blackpowder load, and even has less muzzle raise (subjective i know) but the felt recoil is much sharper. I can feel it in my bones and teeth, and the report is much louder.

A comparison of the three loads i mainly use:

Have you ever wanted a Beretta 93R, but then had the crushing reminder that you don't have $130,000 (One hundred and thirty thousand) dollars to buy a Transferable example? (And let's be honest here $130k for dumb toy is retarded)

Well now you only need to spend like $50 and a couple grand in gunsmithing and custom parts plus file a soon to be free SBR Stamp in order to get a close (some might argue who actually superior) approximation of one due to a WIP Beretta 92 FRT

A FOSSCAD guy has already maybe cloned it

You know that guy building those Halo Guns?

This looks fun as shit. Any recommendations for a first black powder gun? Inclined toward a revolver.
Any resources you can recommend? I want to cast so much smoke and fire, that the fire department is called

It does look entertaining, but doesn't that mean that you still have black powder burning after it has left the bore? Could you chrono the current charge and see if reducing it has an effect on velocity?

Well it looks great. At least 9mm is cheap and you can get some big mags for it. I think the .45 version is also cool, but I understand your reasoning.

I'm glad the Ruger RXM has turned out well and isn't JUST another clone, it has its own style and shit. It's a 9mm I actually want.

So a rifled short barrel firearm that fires pre-existing cartridges and shotshells is a-ok, but not a rifled short barrel firearm that fires new to market multi-projectile ammunition, and cartridges... At least we know, according to the ATF, that Franklin's special AR is just an AR with special ammunition.

I just checked Franklin's website, and the short barreled Reformation is still for sell in either 5.56 or 300 blk. Not 45/410. Apparently its different because it has no twist on the grooves if I understand correctly. Franklin really seems determined to find a loophole.

And I hope they keep doing it.
What better way to prove all your stupid laws are unenforceable and retarded.

I am grateful for companies like Franklin Armory who continue to push the envelope and insist on being a thorn in the side of the ATF and anyone else who desires to chip away at our Second Amendment rights any way they can. And that goes for all the sound suppressor manufacturers and retailers who are teaming up to take the federal government to court to hopefully repeal the NFA.

in time i'm hoping there is a larger aftermarket for grips and PDW kits like that flux raider. there are already a couple metal frames that are pretty cool but cost nearly as much as the gun itself. magpul needs to get off their ass and release the full size and subcompact frames already.
