Are semi automatic versions of the Uzi, Mac 10/11 even worth it? I think most uzis are $2k+ which I think is high
I have a couple small frame PDWs, and until a frt comes out that works in Uzis/Macs I'm not entirely interested. That being said I'm still looking to build one at some point...
MPA defenders are ~500$, I don't think any is making repro Uzis though. You would have to do a parts kit or buy a used one.
The coolness from it is like 80% vibes at least for me.
The only Small frame I would want without an FRT is the Tec 9....

There are so many platforms that use the AR FCG that can be made super safe that it feels kinda silly to not get a version with one.
Hell they make Mac uppers and you can 3d print a lower that can use a super safety and they have versions for almost any mag you would want.
Thank you, this is the company I would build a kit from, but there website was down so I wasn't sure lol
is there any word on a flux kit for the rxm? i read that they're workin on it but that's about it.
Nope! AFAIK nothing official either, just one of the owners hinting at it? was there something official?

Speaking of Tec 9s ....
someone is doing an updated version with a Pic rail on top. I want to get one of these but I really want it to have those strap loops on it too. I'm also not sure i like the pic rail, what am I supposed to do? aim? with a tec 9?

The Uzi ..... Maybe.

The MACs, hell no, they are cheap CHEAP sheet metal. I've fired a full auto Mac-11 multiple times and an Uzi. They're so great full auto.

A semi auto MAC-10/11 is ...... Not pleasant, get a modern subgun like a Roller delayed or piston driven subgun.

The Uzi ONLY gets a pass because of how cool it is.

quoting their FAQ page;
"Yes — a Glock-compatible Raider is actively in development.

While there is no confirmed release date, we’re getting close. A Ruger RXM version is also underway and will follow. Stay updated by subscribing to our newsletter or following us on social media."
i'm waiting with bated breath.

I had an XCR years ago. It was a great rifle. Since Robinson is local to me I ended up starting a great relationship with the crew, including Robinson himself. This was around the time he was designing the proprietary stock that comes on the XCR now and he actually asked for my input on some of the prototypes he'd come up with, but years before the finalized design had been chosen and released.
2008 me is jealous. 2025 me wonders what you did with it.
Walther's 9x19 pistols are good as well.
Yes they are. I got some trigger time with a PDP F Pro 4" recently. Decent factory trigger, 18 rounds, and red dot capable in a pistol the same size as a Glock 19.
I don't like my 92fs. What should I replace it with? I'm thinking a Glock, XDM, M&P or a High Power.
Out of all you listed, I'd say go with the M&P 2.0. If you're thinking compact I'd say go for either the 4" optics ready model or check out the Shield X. I think Smith did a good job on the frame and its LCI is supposed to foul red dot glass less.

If you're thinking Hi-Power I'd say the CZ 75 is a better choice.

Edited to add: I know we've talked coach guns before but I wanted to ask again about user experience with them. I'm somewhat considering getting something like the CZ Sharp-tail Coach in 12 gauge just because it sounds fun. Please tell me what you all think about coach guns in general.

AR15/10 platforms are the perfected platforms for assault and battle rifles. Eugene Stoner is an OG.
I base my entire gun knowlage off two things, what Ian from FW says and 90s rap music.

I was told by a very wise fellar, AK47 is the tool.

After watching Brandon Herra's video about the FRT... I am torn do i get one for my MP5? I've rented full giggle ones and it's a hoot and super controllable, would be even better bump in the night gun or trench coat carry esp since I work in Philly so I need to return fire against Temu Glock Switch havers.

News on: Glock being gay as fuck.

Glock is really fucking gay if this is true. Also I can't believe their naming convention got WORSE, what the hell.

You can't even say this is for california because only Gen 3s are on the roster? also "all will be NON-MOS"? What's the point.

if that's the case it just might be the year of the RXM. it's up to magpul to stop kicking their footy pajamas around and release the other size grips as well as a larger variety of aftermarket grips/pdw kits.

It was part of my old collection, which I mostly no longer have. Those were all the guns I got as gifts growing up, bought in my early adult life, or inherited from my grampa and dad when they passed. Unfortunately, my dad passing away put me in a deep depression that caused me to be unemployed for three years. To make ends meet, I ended up having to sell off much of my old collection. I still have my dad's deer rifle, hunting shotgun, a beat-up Super Blackhawk that I plan on getting restored and customized one day, and my mom has my dad's old Colt .22lr revolver that I'll get one day along with a Krag that was my other grampa's deer rifle.

I liked the XCR a lot. It was a smooth shooter, never failed on me, and I had even had it two-toned Duracoted it tan and black (this was before Cerakote had either come out, or became widely known in the firearms hobby) with a black skull stencil on each side. But it's not one of the guns I regret selling most. Those would be my Winchester 94s, vintage S&W N Frames, and a Colt New Service that had a long family history. I'd give anything to have those back.

Yup. One was a late 60s Model 57 with an 8 3/8" barrel, the other was a 4" pre-Model 28 Highway Patrolman from 1955 or 1956. Both were in virtually new condition. I did eventually get another Model 57 from the late 60s in similar condition as my original one, but with a 6" barrel instead of 8 3/8". I also had an early 586 that was nickel plated with 4" barrel, but I liked the Highway Patrolman better. I love N Frames. Especially the early ones with pinned barrels and recessed chambers.

After watching Brandon Herra's video about the FRT.
This is not legal or financial advice. You can get a super safety for less than $150 (usually about $100-125 depending on material choice (4402, S7 etc). With said super safety and the addition of various released of pending little kits you can adapt it to work in various different firearms besides AR's (MP5's, other HK's, Soon to be CMMG's, B&T's, VZ.61, Some 3D printed MAC Lowers and many more). Every Super Safety in existence is another little pinprick in the heart of the Hughes Amendment. If you want conventional AR Controls AS Designs will soon be releasing their ARC Fire which is a super safety with a regular selector for about $200-250 I believe. Avoid the similar model from Artrius Dev Group, their QC is terrible. There are those that swear up and down on their lives on the utter supremacy of the Arizona Regulator but you might need ro modify your upper to use it and the owner is apparently kind of an asshole and also might be crazy. Their isn't a definitive seller for Kabuto/TURD/FART whatever derivative name it's going under these days drop in FRT's, mainly because the actual developer if it pulled all the files (labeling them obsolete) to work on a protected version but the closes I can think of is 1441 Recoil Systems (one arfcom purchaser had to do extensive hand fitting of a unit). There are also those that claim that the Kabuto is an auto sear (then again there were those that.claimed the Arizona Regulator was an Autosear until PSR's video semi permamently put that to bed) based on the recent DC/Virginia arrest and similarities In the housing between it and the SFFA DIAS released some time back (there exists a rendered animation of the internals of the SFFA DIAS but I don't have it).

In my opinion the most likely change is that they've changed the switch denial tab from a plastic piece homogenous to the frame to a metal insert molded into the frame. Defeated by a dremel. I think there's even wording in the Cali bill regarding plastic denial tabs.

Less likely but still plausible: they changed up the whole backplate assembly. Glock FRT's still unaffected.

Super unlikely: Every Glock is now a Glock 46. Defeats Switches and FRT's.

There are at least a dozen companies that are offering for sale some kind of gen 3 Glock clone, Switches aren't going anywhere. The street trash will just have to learn from Instagram about PSA Daggers etc. Expect Glock FRT's to be the next big thing.

whatever it is they were able to do it relatively quickly (unless they've had it in the works for a while)

From what I'm seeing online the reaction among the general populace is that everyone is being g kind of retarded about this. " hurt durr glawk sold us out!!!!!11!11!1!1!1" what do you even mean by that, did they "sell us out" when they added the plastic denial tab to Gen 5? Is it because California bad? Sure the new guns (sold in state) will have to be Cali compliant but that sucks for them and them alone.

(Presses X)
I find this difficult to believe.
Agreed, especially considering how fucking easy it would be to make whatever modified nuGlock full auto again, pistols are always very easy to convert if you're not a complete retard.
It's glockstore, why would they lie. It remains to be see whether an Ingenuous SOT or 3D2A guy is able to whip up a new kind of switch if the new models are radically different.

A Japanese guy who is extremely knowledgeable on subjects such as these is saying that SOCOM is looking for a next gen upper capable of perfect function with either NAS3 Or Sig Saar HYP enhanced performance 5.56. NAS3 Can function just fine in conventional uppers, Sig themselves explicitly warn that HYP rounds are 100% unsafe for legacy platforms and are only to be fired out of next gen models produced by them.

Alright everyone place your bets. Who's going to get the upper contract and what ammo solution will get picked.

OTs-35 pistol. Makarov designed for use with super hot loaded 9x18 (muzzle velocity jumped from 1030fps to nearly 1400fps with presumably the same or.similar bullet weight) Compensator is 18mm long

MTs-260 ultra simple shotgun. Barrel was relatively quick detach (necessitated by having to remove it in order to reload the gun). Caliber conversion was as simple as replacing the barrel. Double be had in 12, 16 and 20 gauge. Trigger folds up (you CA just barely see it)

OTs-48K. I've posted it here without knowing it's designation. I incorrectly identified it as a bullpup Mosin. It's actually a Bullpup OTs-48, which is a modernized Mosin

Does anyone have photos of An OTs-9 revolver? I can find references to it online but no pictures. It's said to be a modernized Nagant revolver.

Also does anyone have a photo of a Macon Armory Direct Impingement PCC with the handguard removed and the gas block clearly visible?

Here is the current problem with FRTs:
"you see officer, I know it sounds automatic, but I swear i'm totally pulling the trigger every time."
That being said, police frequent the range I'm at and the cops are more curious than anything (i didn't realize they were next to me. ope)
I would just be reasonable where and when you use it and ask permission at any ranges you go to. Mine allows them but you need to qualify (too many chunks were taken out of the celling)

I don't trust this thing, even with the PSR video. It glows white hot
