Just gonna leave this here.A proper rifle has a pistol grip.
Brown-brownWhats everyone's favorite powder by smell? Love a good slow burning shot shell powder like a green dot or a winchester super target, dislike the acid smelling powder used in 556 green tips.

Anything that isn't whatever Russian ammunition makers put in their stuff. Jesus Christ, I miss the prices, but definitely not the smell.Whats everyone's favorite powder by smell? The smell of that surplus x54r that came in paper packages makes me nostalgic. Cold, snowy winter, firing a nugget into a stump without earpro but the heavy snow coming down dampened the sound just enough that I wasn't concussed.Anything that isn't whatever Russian ammunition makers put in their stuff. Show an example of what you are putting where and I can be more specific.
AI enhanced guns ....the LLM is mounted on the right side.
Yeah I fucking knew someone would make that joke I should have just typed it outAI enhanced guns ....
I don’t like the rotating bolt shotguns because of the Benelli click. The amount of people I have seen have light strikes because of it is crazy.I was really split on these two this year. Is the rotating bolt really all that noticeable to you between them? I've heard it's barely noticeable from the few sources in a side by side, but only ever shot them separately on different days myself.
I think that's a mount, not an optic.What. The. FUCK. Is that itty-bitty optic? That looks like something you'd see on some kid's .22lr squirrel gun back in the 1950s, but here it is on what is allegedly an infantry rifle that is actually issued by a major military. Fucking poop locusts are such a joke. I would question putting that scope on an air rifle, let alone a combat rifle.
Adhesive Velcro is all I can think of for that spot. Its for my Vector (of course). Currently I just have a shitty no-brand pressure plate thing with a toggle and a momentary button, the LLM is mounted on the right side.

This place would be the best part of the gun to put it on if it was lower profile but I think it potentially gets in the way of the charging handle. Those screws are for the brass deflector/ejection port which needs to be removed to access the FCG. I would like to avoid making them inaccessible.
Was thinking about it during work...currently the front left mlok is taken up by a QD attachment for my 2-point sling. Been seriously thinking about swapping to a 1-point because it would make swapping shoulders with the stock extended a lot easier and it would also free up the space for a light switch. I recently did some training that required a ton of shoulder switching and light usage and by the end of it I had disconnected the sling and folded up the stock and was running it primarily left handed because of this.

For example, this Unity Axon fits in a single mlok which is pretty cool. The downside is I'd probably have to change my grip to use it.
The other alternative I haven't fully explored is to swap the sides the laser is mounted to. Currently I can reach its built-in button easily and comfortably when I am off-hand shooting. If I swap sides I could use that method for my strong side and put the switch somewhere in all the real estate not taken up by the charging handle and slide release on the opposite side of the gun. It’s weird but I mean it could work.

Far as I can tell, the INSAS uses weaver bases for mounting optics which is what you see in the photo. the rear sight on the pictured rifle is mission. this render shows what the rear sight should look like. It's an aperture, similar to the A2 sight.I think that's a mount, not an optic.
