I do not expect the private citizen to be more professional than professional cops.
I fully expect this, I even expect inner-city police to be more professional in arrests than feds who sit behind a desk at the border.
Maybe I've watched more bodycam footage(shoutout to the bodycam thread) than most but this seems like textbook execution of "He's reaching I'm shooting him" protocol despite the holster being empty, in hindsight of those present. The whistling and screaming in miserable cold provides a less than sterile environment which means communication is absolute shit not to mention people have done worse when threatened with less charges than obstruction and resisting.
They're going to justify this in every way they can towards people who have used the same verbiage and accusations towards private citizens who had committed justifiable homicide. Maybe this makes the Left more 2A friendly, who knows. But the Feds are trying every dirty trick available as they have in the past. This should be expected, but the protesters evidently have no foresight or judgement.

Messy shooting or not it's not like they disarmed him, waited some time and then executed him. This all happened in a few seconds with someone actively resisting.

Also, them grabbing a single firearm doesn't mean he's magically disarmed. People do carry multiple weapons. Gun went off and made the situation worse. Tragic but stop interfering with ice and resisting and your survivability goes through the roof.
What you are saying is basically that the victim could've been unarmed, a firecracker could've gone off in the background (the victim's gun discharging without intent here), and that was a justified reason for ICE agents to pull the trigger.

Please. How about just admitting that the ICE agents fucked up? It's not like this is the first time in the United States where poorly trained LE-agents resort to pulling their gun and shooting the first time there is a potential threat.

Like we know there is a gun culture unlike any other western country in America. It's also a fact that the average cop (let alone ICE agent) in the United States is trained approximately 6x LESS than in any European country for an example. Your own military has a longer training period for riflemen, than some states have for police officers. It's not a wonder that people get killed by cops.

This instance is a perfect example. People are defending the shooting by saying "don't oppose the authorities", instead of asking how an agent with the support of 5 other agents, thinks it's necessary to use a firearm to kill a suspect laying on his stomach unarmed. Like even if he did something sudden, how about kicking his head? How about piling on to him? There were more than enough people to help you doing that. Instead, the fist instinct is to pull a gun and shoot.

And like @SinistralRifleman said, now this can all be used against you. This man was exercising his 2nd amendment rights. Maybe, people in the administration are going to begin talking about whether or not that right should extend to public gatherings.

pirate pistol.webp

The new Tipmann Ordnance "Pirate Pistol" looks like a great way to waste eight hundred bucks. A slam firing, 380 acp, pump action pistol with a threaded barrel... Sounds like my new every day carry. Also this was the only thing I saw at Shot Show that looked remotely neat. Everything else is either generic, military only, or never gonna release.

Fuck Kash, fuck Pam.
They can go fuck each other and fuck off.
Fire both of them.
I blame their boss, Trump. Both for hiring a foreigner and a woman, and for not telling them to do their jobs.

If you have a gun, don't get into a fistfight. Take from that as you will or listen to the other lolbertarians that are spamming "The Second Amendment is for shooting cops".

The government has never passively supported armed protests. Even Gavin Newsom is trying to say Republicans no longer support the right to carry when he specifically banned carrying during a protest. It's theatre.

The guy was actively getting in the middle & fighting/resisting law enforcement.

The left wants this to happen so they can have their martyrs. I don't believe for one second your average ICE agent wants the shit storm that all this brings.

None of this would happen if you didn't have local leadership & law enforcement standing down and allowing this to happen.

You don't change law enforcement by doing what these "protestors" are doing. This is all with the subtext of these people shooting up ICE facilities. creating networks of scouts to follow their operations with the explicit motive to interfere.

faggot traitor squealing

Funny how Duncan Lemp didn't make it on there, huh? Can you take your squealing about how traitors who want me replaced with seventy IQ mud demons have rights to somewhere else, please? This is for discussing firearms, not for whining about your shitskin loving cult getting what it deserves. Personally, I want all your pet invader darkies and their sycophants to get the same, so whine somewhere else.

Credit where credit is due, he's not arguing for immigration or for gay retards blowing whistles - he's looking at the broader aspects of this situation being used against gun rights being framed as a threat to law enforcement but this time by the Right against John Q. Public no matter the political affiliation. I think he has too high of expectations and I also feel rhetoric commonly used by the left is being thrown back at them as an appeal to their current AWB/gun-fearing policies, but hey. It's politics. It never works as intended.

5/6 being white dudes wasn’t good enough for you? Let’s remove Pretti from the list. 4 white dudes killed for being gun owners, who were not acting violently.

Yes I remember Duncan Lemp. Killed in his own home by law enforcement. Also a tragedy.

If you want to give the government the power to go after all your “undesirables”, it will also be used against people you sympathize with; and maybe even you. Once one “enemy” is removed; they will find more.

i'm sick of hearing about this stupid faggot and what he put up his butt before he wants to play cirque du solei with nervous feds. i'm fighting the urge to pop off a round with the silencer from my patio while i'm in this frozen hellscape, HELP!

It it was half the price it might actually sell. $800 is too much for a silly novelty imo.

He's autistic and like trains guns, the feds are using "assault pistol clipazine optic assassination loadout" language to say guns are bad and he doesn't like that people aren't paying enough attention to it. It's not that deep.
I disagree, but ultimately I really do not care, to be blunt. He can take his inane faggotry elsewhere. There's plenty of other threads more suitable for him to kvetch about how his fellow race traitor caught a bullet.

You want an all steel and wood firearm to sell for as much as a shitty polymer glock clone? I have no idea how they would ever get it to that price point without making it some potmetal pile of shit that would blow up in your hand or just did not work.

As someone who owns a lever in .44 Magnum, can confirm.
Who makes your rifle? I'm mighty tempted to get a Marlin in .44 magnum.

You're not wrong but you can take that shit to another thread.

Better yet, he should kill himself immediately. Then he could go right to God to complain about how life was so unfair to him and the shitskin invaders and commie trash he wishes ran everything.

A point in @SinistralRifleman 's favor about Right wingers becoming strangely anti-gun is Andrew Branca, everyone's beloathed grifting lawyer who almost got Rittenhouse thrown in prison before being replaced, had heavily emphasized the P320 with its threaded barrel, extended 20(to 21) round magazines and a SIG Romeo optic carried in the altercation as opposed to focusing entirely on the fact he was grappling with cops. The perp could have had a .25 ACP Jennings for all it mattered, but he wants to scare people.
