The GSG 110rnd drum for my F22 arrived today. First impressions are that it feels really well build. The bulk of the drum is polymer that seems high quality and sturdy. The head/tower is all metal (seems to be aluminum since it is non-megnetic). Overall I'm happy so far and looking forward to trying it on the range. Need to find a good supply of non-waxed .22lr ammo, since it specifically states not to load waxed ammo into the drum. I'm also happy with how it looks on the F22. Kinda Tommy Gun-esque.

In [current year], especially as a cop, why carry a gun that is as big and heavy as a 10rd+ subcompact 9mm, but is a 6+1 .380 or a 7+1 .32? Plus, .380 PPKs define "sucks to shoot". I'm a G43X skeptic because I think the G26 barrel, G19 grip length format is retarded for ccw use, and wouldn't want to rely on questionable aftermarket magazines to give the gun the capacity it should have had from the factory. For a cop concealability is a little less important.

I enjoyed shooting a Chiappa Rino awhile back, but they are so fugly. Wish Chiappa made something more like the Mateba 2006m, but modernized.

Cool collection guns like the 2006m and 6 Unicas are too expensive for my tastes right now and they will probably only go up.

It seems the Chiappa Rhino is the one meme gun I want that doesn't suck to shoot (looking at you SPAS-12)

Do they want unlubed ammo or just unwaxed? CCI has polymer coated ammo in a couple of different flavors, CCI Clean. The Clean 22 Suppressor is probably what I'd pick up, 1000fps 45gr. I haven't tried the Clean but regular CCI Suppressor is my usual go-to for my Charger if I can find it (relegated to CCI Subs like 99% of the time lol). They also have 40gr high velocity (1200-something) and 32 super velocity (1500ish)

The Clean Suppressor is 15 cents a round on Midway in a milk carton of 200, I've seen packs of 400 that might be cheaper but not actually in stock

Sadly I don't have anything too rad to post with guns, I sold my two shotguns I had which one of them looked straight out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon and the other one was one of those that you hold by your side and doesn't have a butt. Either way, all I have now is my Baikal MP-153 for basic home defense and hunting when it's right. No pictures since I'm schizo about EXIF data.

I liked my 40DS, only problem was it was a first generation so the double action trigger pull was awful. They upgraded it later.

Speaking of, has there been any of the ground reports about the new Rhino in .44 Mag? I've found one for sale but I really don't want to be another guinea pig for Chiappa.

I have to think that this would be brutal to shoot. that low bore axis is going to put all the recoil right into your arm bones. A normal revolver has a high bore axis which encourages lots of muzzle climb. if you let that muzzle climb and use your arms like a lever a lot of the recoil is dissipated.
