Mega Rad Gun Thread

I don't think I've ever noticed the muzzle-flash on my carbine, M38s converted to 8mm however....
The muzzle flash and report from a 10.5 AR through an A2 flash hider is... substantial, lmao.

There's a reason why the XM177 had a moderator, and all the cool kids run around with proper cans on them these days.

Chucked a brake on my 10.5 and hours after like 50 rounds of full spec M855 I was having shitty vision and a hard time driving. Silicone earplugs+Peltors with gel cups wasn't enough for being under the range pavilion. Gun shoots fucking AWESOME tho, split time and controllability are off the charts

Fired another 221 rounds in the Anaconda today. I'm inching closer and closer to the 1,000 rounds milestone.

My hands are covered in soot, and the guns cylinder went from bright polished stainless to dull silver speckled black. and boy, did she get hot. If I'd have brought another 100 rounds I'd have to have put on the shooting gloves.

That whole idea is the dumbest gun control bill to ever hit the desks our increasingly stupid government. It's literally impossible for a vast majority of 3D printers to accomplish something like that. The lowest overhead way to implement it would be for every printer to send its gcode to the cloud to be rendered and analyzed against known gun parts by a bot, and it's impossible for the printer itself to accomplish that since it's not like you can run a hash check when a single print setting tweak will result in a different hash, nor can the printer itself reconstruct the gcode into a solid model and check it against a database without the control unit being a substantially powerful computer.

I've found that 14.5 is my favorite AR barrel length. It isn't as soft shooting as a longer barrel with a mid length gas system but I can shoot it unsuppressed under cover and not feel like I'm getting a CTE and isn't hugely less maneuverable than my 12.5 even when both uppers are suppressed, and somehow the 16" always feels weirdly on the edge of too long when I throw a can on it. Took the m1a out this time around as well, it's a shame is so mediocre in performance compared to how cool it looks, been getting 3-4 moa with lc m118 (it is rather old stock) that I bought at a gun show 7 years ago. It's fun as hell to shoot but I probably would have sold it by now if I didn't inherit it from my grandpa. Thank you for coming to my blog

bed the action and don't take the stock off again unless you literally drop it into a river. that's the key to an accurate M14. with good ammo it should manage 1.5-2 MOA unless the bore has been abused. custom M14's can be more accurate, but its a battle rifle not a sniper rifle despite so many expecting bolt gun performance from it.

Century Arms has already stopped shipping to Virginia buyers even though the bans and the liability bill start July 1st.

This is exactly what the Democrats wanted when they passed these bills, to isolate buyers and economically starve makers out.

EVERYONE should stop shipping to them.
See how they like it when only the criminals have guns.

I was the second shooter unlike that faggot Harvey that used keyholeing POS PPU ammo, I used steinel and was able to hit my target.
he hit connely no doubt but we all know the true dome shot came from me, on top of the railway bridge, with a remington xp-100 pistol using .222 fireball. that shit blew his cranium smoove off

almost 1/3 of this goddamned country already has experienced that and knows how shitty it is

I agree with you on the looks thing.

Keep the rifle as is and enjoy shooting it. If you want a better battle rifle there's plenty out there that are easy to get. For an okay price you can get a PWS MK218 in .308, for example. They're coming out with a next-gen of the MK2 series soon. Mine will do 1 MOA with good ammo.

Couldn't agree more. I personally don't listen to those that tell me my natural rights should have some sort of limits on them. I also don't ask permission or pay fees to exercise those rights. I encourage everyone else to do the same. Unlikely we'll ever get there but it's a nice thought.

Moving on, I got some trigger time with a S&W Bodyguard 2.0. It's the second .380 pistol I've ever fired. I was surprised by not only how well it performed but also by how damn small it is. I'll never own one but I'm telling you guys, for those in the market for a pocket pistol that one is excellent.

Wow, when even the ACLU is opposing it, you know it must be horrendous legislation. Not that it matters. California is proof positive of demographics being destiny. The state is a third White, which means it is guaranteed going to keep circling the drain, much like how Virginia instantly went to garbage as a result of going from 70% White to 50% White.

This is really true for the whole nation. Unless the gun community drops the lolbertarian civic nationalist bullshit and admits that brown foreigners are diametrically opposed to White American rights, then you can expect the whole nation to become California and Virginia.

I used my birthday discount at MidwayUSA to buy 200 sierra 300gr .45 soft points, shooting bags (sand bags? rests?) and some new rings and bases for my Winchester, not satisfied with the Talley rings I have on that gun currently.
