That looks so fucking retarded, I love it.
Holy shit. 3rd world looking ass soldiers.Ireland With Beretta NARP
Just throw some old magpul MBUS on it and be done with it.I can't decide if I want to run BUIS on my primary AR, or if I want to run a magnifier for my red dot.
The irons... they're fine. Daniel Defense metal BUIS that aren't plastic shit, and that don't fold down. Ideally I'd have some Knights Armaments lollipops like we did in the service, but lol at spending $300 on a single rear sight aperture.
Thing is, the red dots today are not the foamy diarrhea they were 20+ years ago. My Aimpoint PRO is as reliable as anything.
I also realize that I will not ever need to rely on 'my gear' as if my life depends on it, and that we're all just larping faggots who decided that shooting guns was less gay than some other money hole hobby.
No. Because everything I get a passing interest in is expensive and usually offers maybe one advantage over its AR platform equivalent. I do have SU-16s though.Kiwis you ever get bored of AR15s and try other 556 stuff? I remember when I thought i was getting bored of guns in general but I got to try other guns and the love came back. Thinking about min maxing the akb23 or sending the hk33 clone off to get some love ( paddle mag release, barrel swap, rail weld on.)
Yeah you'd expect the italians to have better aesthetics, they look like they're wearing generic soldier Halloween costumes with whatever gear could be found at a surplus store.Holy shit. 3rd world looking ass soldiers.
I have one in 9mm.View attachment 8994860
Anyone have any experience with RIA's stuff? TAC ULTRA FS gives me pajeet vibes so I'm immediately suspicious of the quality, but I want a 10mm 1911 and I'd rather not spend twice as much for a Delta Elite. I also weirdly like the more rectangular 1911s with the full rail over the traditional style.
They’re not very great in terms of fit and finish, and the disassembly process is very uniquely proprietary. That being said, they’re made in the Philippines and my brother owns an RIA 1911 in 10mm. It eats anything without issue. Surprisingly pleasant to shoot as well.View attachment 8994860

I'm not too worried about fit and finish provided it isn't an unreliable piece of shit. That it shoots whatever you put in it is good enough for me. It's mostly going to be a range toy for me since I carry a G17 daily. They’re not very great in terms of fit and finish, and the disassembly process is very uniquely proprietary. Seeing the string of PCC posts earlier but nothing I think I will reply to directly, I never got into PCCs and the reason is pretty simple. Most PCCs are not significantly smaller or lighter than a SBR AR, especially if it folds. For instance, my MCX Rattler variant. I know...

but it's basically the same weight and size as an SP5, which I no longer own btw because it was a meme gun and I was able to sell it for more than I paid for it, so the only thing it offered was using the same ammo as my carry guns, which isn't a huge deal. PCCs are just too expensive for what they are, and the cheap ones just aren't interesting enough and have reliability issues, actually some of the expensive ones do. I'm not spending $3,000 on something that only offers being a few oz lighter than my already pretty optimized folding AR variant, and using 9x19 instead of 5.56 or 300blk.
it's all right. not a nice gun but functional. My dad has one and I'd rather a colt.View attachment 8994860

Sad but true. I have a X95 and want a AUG then that's it for bullpups. I have a PSAK-103 and want (kinda) a wood furniture AK for kino aesthetics then that's literally it for my non AR semi autos rifles.No. Because everything I get a passing interest in is expensive and usually offers maybe one advantage over its AR platform equivalent. Yep. Iirc no one runs 5.56mm ARs with barrels under ~10.5/11 inches. The 55 grains out of 5.56 out of 5" barrel is a noise maker. MV is a joke+ keyholing issues and pissing off the guy next to you, God help him if it's an indoor range. I personally drink the .300BLK koolaid and I know a few inches is enough to get 125 grains lethal and subsonic 200+ grains is going to do some damage and keep the can far shorter than any 16" carbine.
Now I have a hard on for PDW platforms so this is all subjective. The itty bitty 9mm SBR willl always be king of room clearing and tight corners.
Rarely do I ever hear anyone talk about the value of a supressor in some weird home defense situation. 9mm out of a pistol no earpro and your hearing is fucked for days. If I tag some figure in the dark they fall behind a couch or arund a corner I want to hear a "THUD" I want to hear subtle movement or moaning if they are still alive. I want to hear the police bang on he front door from across the house identiifying themselves as LE so no misunderstadnings occour.
Forgive the bad language, but, the Dutch.Yep. Iirc no one runs 5.56mm ARs with barrels under ~10.5/11 inches.
with what projectile? at 1000FPS or less your projectiles either need to be a premium ballistic-tip type bullet or a very soft soft point because at that low velocity you are relying on expansion only for damage. I'd also want a round nose or flat point as well to increase effect on target. Most .30 cal projectiles are just going to be too tough and icepick right on through the target unless they hit a major bone like the pelvis or femur. even the "anemic" .30-30 gets ~2400FPS. and of course, the fancy copper rounds rely on velocity to achieve expansion because they are tough by design.I personally drink the .300BLK koolaid and I know a few inches is enough to get 125 grains lethal and subsonic 200+ grains is going to do some damage

Recently heard a retard talk some retarded shit about shooting through a windshield. He was a DCJS instructor too. People get funny ideas sometimes.since you're talking about home defense which means indoors
