Dark Mountain Stowaway 9mm

Did you ever want a single-shot 9x19 pistol that's the size of a barrel-less AR15? Well, have I got the gun for you!

By the way, it's $400 and you don't get sights or anything. There's also no regulatory differences, so it's not better than a 9mm handgun in any way.
I have one. Only worth it if you have a suppressor and shoot subsonic ammo, but fun and satisfying when you can. Very quiet then a loud thunk of a 147gr round hitting steel. A real shame they didnt make it with a magazine as that does noticeably detract from it. Would be a good cheap modern delise otherwise.

Speaking of quiet, got to fire my ss special ruger mark iv with 3 inch barrel. Suppressor + cci quiets is getting close to hollywood quiet. 40-50 feet away it sounds like a tire going flat then the impact.

I put together a bolt .22 that is a single shot 22long or LR or short and while it's currently half disassembled getting a scope installed the loudest part of that gun with shorts is the firing pin. Which is annoying and has led to much googleing of what's the quietest fireing pin in a 22.

The secret for GunBroker is to find the seller's store, call them directly, and offer them what they'd get after Gunbroker's massive cut.
That's brilliant.
As for high end wheelguns you can actually get in the US, if I were to buy one I'd probably go for the Manurhin MR-73 over the Korth.
I gotta say I'm a fan of that Korth .44 magnum. If I had to have a real high-end one it'd be one of those.
.338 ARC has been approved(and recognized) by SAAMI, get ready for the new wunder cartridge that's surely worth the admission price and isn't just a slightly different kind of retarded than 8.6 Blackout.

I like .300 BLK for what it can do in its very narrow niche. What's .338 ARC supposed to be good for?

Speaking of thumpers, part of me is curious about .45 caliber rifles for 200m and in. There's good ol' .45-70 but I'm wondering if the .450 Bushmaster wouldn't be just as good. I'd be reloading for either one I got. I have a lot of AR rifle experience but limited lever gun experience. That pushes me harder toward the Bushmaster. Its primary role would be hunting animals up to whitetail deer size.

They're chasing energy on target while also remaining subsonic, which means it needs a very big bullet. So they went up to the AR-10/short action footprint.
Hunters like the idea because suppressors are surging in popularity but for the most part it's another cartridge for reloaders to mess with.

.450 is on par with .45-70 for sure. It kicks like a motherfucker out of a lightweight AR though, it caught me by surprise when I first fired one.

I looked into 450 bush, it's cool and good for AR builds.

45-70 = based. Now you can put in a WAY heavier round 240-250 ish grn for bush, while 45-70 you can go that light but it's more in the range of 500 (hell that was one of the first rounds). Flexibility by far goes to 45-70.

Never shot the 450 but yikes.

If you're looking at white tail, check 300 HammR or fuck it just get a 7.62x39 slavic 30-30.

Trigger kicker looks really cool but I can't really see more than a day or less of fun with one given it isnt select fire.

Unless you're REALLY into larping as a squad support weapons guy and have money to burn on ammo as well.

I think they will sell like hot cakes because, better to have it than not, or more so stock up before they are banned.

I'm looking forward to in 10 years "fucking boomers and their $300 FA macs.... 7K for my TK'd PSA AR I know what I got!"
