James Earl Jones owned some pretty unusual firearms. He owned a few Mausers, which is ironic considering it was the model Han Solo's blaster was made after. Also an AR upper in 7.92x33, the STG-44 caliber. I don't know why he chose that but he had some real interesting items in his collection.
Don’t forget his 1911 chambered for 38 SPC wadcutters.
The M14 gets a lot of shit, but the fact is it was a perfectly fine rifle and has been in service in one way or another, and used in marksmanship competition
It’s an incredibly accurate rifle. It’s just not a very good battle rifle. The Beretta BM59 did it better and they’re both outclassed by the G3 as a standard infantryman’s rifle.
The core of glockfag discourse is pretending not to understand the simplest things. You could explain it to them but they'll keep pretending that they don't understand
I’m not a “Glockfag” - if I were forced to say what the best striker fired duty pistol is I’d argue it’s the HK VP9. You’ll hate your life trying to find a good Safariland holster once you start adding weapon lights and an RDS onto it. I stick with Glocks for magazine commonality and the best absolute holster support. Regardless, I don’t use my slide release on any pistol and don’t teach people to use them either.
