Yes its from 2018 but I would still see it!

Seems that my local shop has seen a sharp increase in suppressor sales, to the point that they took a few days after my new can arrived to call me to let me know it was in. Will see how it sounds this weekend hopefully:

Also, holy shit, Sig seemingly does not want you to remove their direct-thread hub mount. It took heat, leverage and percussion to get that fucker out.

Did you try soaking in hot water?
Rockset is what is used on most muzzle devices and it breaks down with water, since extreme heat is experienced in normal operation.
no idea if sig used it but it would not surprise me.

When I put my planb adapters on I just used hightemp anti seize and tourqed to spec, but they came off easy from the factory.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I was talking about the direct-thread hub mount that ships with the can. The reason I needed to remove it is that I already had a Plan B muzzle device that I Rocksetted to the upper when I built it and needed to replace Sig's 1/2x28 direct thread adapter with a KVP Plan B hub mount.

I didn't detect any Rocksett or other adhesive on the Sig stuff after taking it apart. Just some anti-sieze and a lot of torque.

I also put that lower together today while watching TV, lol.

I did it. I pulled the trigger and bought a 22 suppressor on Silencer Shop. I found a local gun store in my area that will do a 4473 on it without me having to deal with the ATF Form 4! I absolutely cannot wait for it to arrive, but now I have to take the arduous journey to find a good 22 pistol I should put it on (I'm leaning between either the TX22 and Ruger Mark IV).

I donated an additional one dollar to the silencer shop foundation for their troubles :semperfidelis:

Which can did you get? The Sparrow is kind of a classic, but I really like my Hux Flow 22ti,even if cleaning it sorta sucks balls.

I got the el camino for 325 bucks. it's apparently really easy to clean, has a titanium tune and stainless baffles, and works up to 5.7x28. I've looked around jewtube and plebbit and the reviews are pretty good for the thing

I saw this big-brained review on silencer shop and just knew I just had to get it. Very informative review from this man

the bans have been receding for 40 years. we're winning on all fronts. doomers should jump off a bridge.
Or, and hear me out here, we support the much, much stricter bans that are surely coming so we can secretly become gunrunners and make a lot of money.
I thought they looked awesome as a teenager growing up on video games and the TV show Future Weapons. I was disappointed finding out an adult it’s a G36 with a face lift.
I know what you mean, after a fashion. When I was a kid I was sure a FAMAS was the best infantry rifle ever (thank you, gay ass Metal Gear Solid). Then I get trigger time on a bullpup and I fucking hated it. Also found the older models had 1:12 twists. Gay.
Wait times are down to days and no 200$ stamp. Just fucking buy one already.

Basically every military bar Israel is abandoning bullpups. France is going for the 416, China just adopted the QBZ-191, the UK is in the middle of looking for a replacement for the SA80, I think Australia just announced a replacement program for the EF88 too. Why Israel is the holdout I'm not sure, other then maybe they feel the smaller overall length of a bullpup is good for urban operations?

Off the top of my head Austria and Croatia also use their own indigenous bullpup rifles.

If I ever win the lottery I’m still picking up a FAMAS. Still one of the coolest looking rifles ever made in my opinion and I love French Foreign Legion stories.
