My local shop is finally (starting Monday) doing transfers over a 4473 (it seems guidance is out at least in part)
(2 nearby were already doing it, a 3rd did a few and then got scared (lmao))
what's the situation with your local shop?
Comstock FTN.5 PCC flow works like a charm, didn't go crazy on it but sick that there is a plan B 3d printed suppressor (this was an old form 1)
shot it without the suppressor and the muzzle device is wild lol.
Need to wait til someone smarter than me tells me I can 3d legally print more suppressors....
Well, after two weeks of the USPS bouncing my package all around the fucking country, the Empire brass grips for my Python arrived today. They are heavy (duh, they're solid brass), but they feel good in my hands. Much better than the G10 boot grips that originally came on it. They're long front-to-back, but narrow side-to-side. Kinda like a 1911, but dimensionally different, if that makes any sense. Anyways, I'm happy with them, and I'm glad I'm used to carrying heavy pistols. Most people would probably be better served with the aluminum version of the grips, but you all know I'm a fucking weirdo.
Duct tape+plastic bottle+polyfill and subs are good for 1 or 2 shots. Where I grew up, in the late 70's/early 80's, the deer poachers spotlighting deer on dirt roads would wrap a roll of duct tape around a plastic bottle and then tape that to the muzzle of a .22lr rifle. It was quiet enough when most of the homes in the boonies were @ 1/4 mile apart.

By claiming that forced reset triggers are not full auto people are implicitly accepting the government's and anti-gun lobby's position that fully automatic fire is bad and should be banned for civilian use and ownership.
I disagree, I think that it's more important that a foot be put down that laws with verbiage as precise as the NFA mean exactly what they say and the government can't fudge the law to enforce it.

I think the government has a duty to the people to not participate in Talmudic pilpul and admit that since FRTs are effectively indistinguishable from full auto then the machine gun ban is entirely bullshit.

Seems like we already do. The spirit of the law is to ban fully automatic weapons. FRTs are obviously circumventing that and so the Federal government should stick to its guns and follow the spirit of their own rules.
(Or admit the that they've lost and give up the charade.)
Does anyone have that pic of the boomers complaining on their mg forum that they didn't want machine guns to be deregulated because they would lose money, it was from the hearing protection act days.

They already did and lost at the Supreme Court, it was Garland v Cargill. Case was about bump stocks but it bitchslapped the ATF over their new definition of "single function of the trigger", and FRTs came into widespread prominence shortly thereafter.
Makes sense to me. They actually look pretty good outside of a studio, I might get a pair since target grips are fat and service grips can be knucklebusters even with a T-grip.
But in aluminum because I'm not a weirdo.
I think I've actually got a couple of those: 1911 with bone grips, HK Mark 23 with suppressor, FK Brno PSD with optic, vintage S&W N Frame magnum...and that's just my handguns.
Looking to get a sbr upper. DD or bcm? There Is a dd upper for around 700 or a bcm for around the same price, bcm comes with a bcg so it's a bit cheaper but I feel like the dd is going to be nicer.
I also just used my 150$ vevor cnc to engrave a lower worked pretty good, looks nicer then the punches I was thinking of using.
