Former WWE performer Mike Jones whose only fame was being Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase's lackey who would later turn on him and went on to be a jobber, meaning he is the wrestler that always loses and just serves as filler. He had fame as an internet meme sitting alone at wrestling conventions with no fans in line to buy his merchandise. Why is that so? Besides not being anyone's favorite wrestler, but because he overcharges for an autograph. $20? And he doesn't even list his prices. He just says 20, which he means 20 each. This video explains it:

2:33-5:24 it is explained he scammed a guy by getting into a photo with him and Dibiase, and he charged money for it.

5:48-7:35 a re-enactment of how he operates.

11:05-11:40 he promotes that Ted Dibiase will be coming, when he never does
Today, there is even a blog with pics of him doing this same thing.

He doesn't get a clue. Is he that desperate for money and attention? And his recent activity is creepy:

53 year old Virgil is hitting on 24 year old WWE Diva Sasha Banks.

It's kind of sad to read about how pathetic the guy is nowadays. Clearly he's trying to be controversial to get attention since for the longest time he's tried and failed to make money on the convention circuit but all he's doing is burning more and more bridges.

He's not the kind of person I'd consider to be a lolcow however, he's the embodiment of something you just have to ignore and hope he goes away to get a nine to five job. A lost cause in that industry if I ever seen one.

iirc I've heard the recent uptick in tweets from him is because he got some of Shieky Baby's social media people to handle his stuff too
I'm at a smalltime collectibles show shilling some worthless crap of mine. At my booth is a tv/vcr of a friend that I'm watching stuff on while sitting on my ass. Guest of Collectibles Show Virgil comes by and asks to borrow my tv so he can show a tape of his matches at his booth. I tell him it's not my tv to lend out. He then asks me to call my friend to see if he can borrow it. It's 9am. I don't even have my cell phone on me so I tell him how I don't even have his number handy, then Virgil grumbled about how "well I've got Vince Mcmahon's number" and wandered off.

I read about this on /cow/ a while ago. He's cheap, desperate and just not a pleasant character at all.

He seems sort of self-aware in those AMA responses.
Yeah, he's half working a gimmick of being a washed-up barely-was, half really being a washed-up barely-was.
Like how The Iron Shiek (or his handlers) made a thing out of the FAKKIN BAUULSHIT stuff after word online spread that he was like that.

Colt Cabana addressed that on his podcast; Virgil had made a career out of wrestling geeks thinking they are playing a great joke in him... by giving him $20 for a picture.

There was a crazy wrestling convention in the Cow Palace in San Francisco about 7 or 8 years ago where the promoter ended up screwing everybody out of their money. Somebody heard Virgil say that in the territory days they used to deal with shady promoters by planting a bomb in their car set to go off a few miles away from the arena. I don't believe any bombings have been confirmed.

Yeah... Some guys can/do the 20$ autographs, like Scott Steiner or Bret Hart, but others only charge 10-15$, and cut rates if you're buying a lot of merchandise. -- Virgil's isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

I've read that he's cheap and creepy, but no firsthand experiences.

I met virgil a couple of years ago at a small convention.
Firstly i just want to say he was polite through the entire exchange and whilst odd not really creepy.

Im not a major wwe fan but it was a cult tv show and lots of other none wwe folks were there.
Virgil was basically on his own trying to call people over. Since i had been a fan of the million dollar man i figured what the hell. If i recall correctly he was charging $15 for autographs and $25 for a photo with him.
He started to offer extras $15 dollars for a voice mail, $20 for a video then things got really odd for $50 he would put the million dollor dream on us for $100 we could do it to him. We werent sure how much of this was him joking around or begging.
He chats at length. We were stuck there for around 45 minutes trying to break away.
He talks as if everything is real and kayfabe doesn't exist. Again we werent sure if this is because we expected him to stay in character or because he was crazy.
He massively exaggerated his stories. He talks about how he was a major player in the NWO as if they were real and were really out to takeover wcw, matches with austin and hogan were he was super over and giving advice to guys like CM Punk and Randy Orton that made them stars.
As we left he told us to keep an eye out for Hogan and Kevin Nash who he was totally convinced he had seen earlier in the day.

Some great radio ensued when Sam Roberts interviewed Virgil following this tweet:

It takes less than a minute for him to harass Sam's female cohost and attempt to show her his penis.
