It's going a different way than Vintage Story. VS is "Minecraft but more Survival". Hytale is "Minecraft but more Adventure".
The engine is definitely well suited for multiplayer, it reminds me of Trove and what people expected of Cube World. It's definitely not as earnest as Cube World and I expect it to be as nickel & diming as Trove. Hopefully I'm wrong, but that's my gut feeling about it.

I'll reserve my judgement for now, they got enough funding for 2 years of development (or so I read) so if they don't shape up to be a hell of a Minecraft alternative then I guess we'll wait for even longer. Vintage Story is good enough for me.

It honestly feels like the last meaningful update was the Nether update. Everything since then has been cosmetic/useless shit.

I'm still baffled they still haven't added new bosses, meanwhile Terraria has got like... 30?

I have recently been going through old files, and have found around 1700 Minecraft bedrock edition worlds to go through.
No, that is not a typo.
While there are a few important worlds that I am interested in keeping, the vast majority of those worlds are worlds that I gave up on after 5 minutes. How should I go through them all?
I was thinking about using Amulet Editor to view all of these worlds. However, it lacks many features that I need such as the ability to view what other players were active on the world, the ability to check days played, and the ability to see if the daylight cycle is enabled or not. Amulet editor also loads in a bunch of new chunks and doesn't have the ability to disable it.
Does anyone know of an alternative/additional program that I can use? I haven't touched most of these worlds in at least half a decade, so compatibility with the latest version is not too important for me.

I'm in the same boat, I tried searching for a good editor to fix an issue in my main world (1.17.1, Java) and I found that the better editors are all paywalled or only work for older versions.

I tried downloading Amulet literally a month ago only to uninstall it after coming across this bullshit:

Yep, I had to sit through one minute of the dev's ebegging every time I opened the damned thing. And I checked it today to find out it's been paywalled. Fuck that.

Picked up my old world after going through an initial 2-week MC period, was doing some close-to-surface (About 10-15 blocks down) level mining when I heard a dog bark echo, made me pause for a moment before I saw the dog right in front of me, can you imagine hearing something like that down at deepslate?

Been playing Hytale. Got bored of Exploration mode after getting the strongest gear and building a cramped but functional house.
Now I'm going to get the game banned in Europe.

But for real Hytale has a ton of potential. I seen videos about all of the weapons, mobs and items in the game and it clearly shits on Minecraft by leauges and bounds.
Theres 26 armor sets in the game so far (22 unobtainable as of now), compare that to Terraria which has 27 sets in prehardmode. Thats pretty damn impressive for a game that just got brought back from the dead.

Heres the video showing all the mobs. Hopefully the game does indeed become Terraria 3d one day.

I can't really comprehend why something like this exists but ok. Pretty sure there are countless other games that lend themselves to better PvP games.
Autism really.

These people got buckbroken over Blast Protection getting buffed somewhat because they couldn't "End Crystal" PVP as good any more

Autists are funny, they make something into a competition and then start drama over it

Imagine combining the dual autism of the Melee competitive scene and Minecraft "influencer" culture? It'd be the ultimate black hole of drama that could be created online. Add in some of the usual modern-day political shenaians and you've got yourself a true spectacle.

To anyone who plays 2b2t, is it still worth playing? Playing solo gets boring after a while, and the community has become pretty retarded. Trannies and faggots have been complaining that the server is toxic, edgy, and filled with muh chuds. Like, are they trying to turn the server into a safe space or some shit? Lol.

Never was, it's only real value "THE OLDER ANARCHY SERVER IN MEMEKURFT" has is just that, a place for autists who want to use hack clients or faggots who got banned or don't want to be banned from servers for being assclowns. And very talents builders for some esoteric reason, and of course for the autismo full course there's some technical wizards who want to know the absolute extreme limit you can do with a server without being the owner, so yeah just copious amounts of autism. I've seen some crazy shit but that's too few and far between, 99% of it is griefing.

I mean, that's what they do. Invade a space and shit it up with what they want even if it conflicts with the current culture. And somehow they manage it. And of course they'll do this to the places you'd both most expect and even least expect, look at 4chan.

Strange there are any talented builders on the server at all. Maybe some see making something on 2b2t as a challenge to make a build and see how long it survives on a place known for its chaos.
