Around 2 months ago my youtube algorithm pushed me some videos about some fag who was allegedly cheating in ranked minecraft PVP named Marlow. The allegations were that Marlow was the alter-ego or creation of an older player named DangerMario. DangerMario was an old anarchy player and apparently pretty notorious for whatever reason, probably 2b2t.
Who and what is Marlow.
Marios plan was to "create" Marlow, a """"female"""" PVPer because females get more attention in this space. Frankly i doubt they get any attention at all because women don't play ranked pvp minecraft. Anyway, Marlow was created and they started PVP'ing (read: cheating) and climbing the ranks. Marlow ended up becoming rank 1 in every single gamemode on the most prestigious ranking server, MCTiers. At some point during this too, Marlow also gained ownership over this server - so undisputed rank 1 and also owner. During this time they were also building a youtube channel, (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOSweeosgqQb3MEVvSsa1_A) which up until a week ago was over 400,000 subs. The videos did well, the ruse worked, most of the videos are over 1m views and Minecraft servers are a good source of money so safe to say, Marlow probably made a few hundred thousand.

Yes, two entire years ago, another youtuber brought up just how fucking obvious it was to anyone with a functional frontal lobe that Marlow was using an AI voice changer.
That ended up blowing over until 2 months ago, when there was a flurry of videos with more cheating accusations. I think it was this one that kicked it off.
This stirred up the hornets nest and there was A LOT of videos posted, many getting several hundreds of thousands of views. You can search for them yourself because there's just too many to link. Anyway a common thing to do in this ranked PVP shit is if you think someone is illegitimate, ask them for a screenshare or a handcam video. Well Marlow did just that and uploaded a fuckin 2 hour video of a man in a wig playing blockgames.

Out of the blue, this video dropped, many thanks sandeep for dumping it back in my recommended. A chat from telegram going back to 2021 where DangerMario admitted how it was all fake and manufactured. They even had a plan for an alt account to accuse himself of grooming (???) and his last huzzah was to livestream themselves jumping off a bridge. Sick!
But Marlow still owned the server so had control right, it'd just blow over again. Well no, it looks like even they are starting to pickup on it and staff at his server are banning him:

Anyway, as you were. I needed to put it somewhere because i found the whole thing amusing. There's lots of things I didn't really touch on either which you can look up yourselves. Was it an actual tranny or just a man skinwalking a woman online for money? Is there a difference? There was a lot of cheating going on too, macros, cheat clients, mods etc. There was even friends of marlow created who also used AI voice changers. It's all pretty bizzare and tbh, deserving of a better write up than what I put together here.

The Coof is easily one of the worst things to have happened to society in quite a while, not because of how dangerous it was as a virus (most people who died who old, had compromised immune systems or generally unhealthy, and some were even unrelated to Covid but were registered to boost the numbers) but what "the powers that be" and other bad actors did in the name of "preventing it." This being a major side effect, millions of people trapped at home over gay lockdowns and curfews ending up being terminally online and corrupted by absolute creatures or at the very least being whipped into towing the line. Sad really.

Nostalgia Tweaks, Minimap mod, and some nostalgia-bait like the Aether are the ones I add. I'd say a lot of mods have bloat, I've stopped paying attention to a lot of them for some years, but a key culprit are generation structure mods/datapacks. They'll add structures that either don't fit a theme, spawn way too much, or they don't fit into the world at all.
I just wish there was a mod that made it so mobs would attempt to raid your base a once a week or something.
Idk I just love the idea of defending your fortress from hoards of enemies during the night, while rebuilding and improving defences during the day. Non of this pillager nigger shit either, I need mobs that can break down doors and destroy fortifications. A full on Helms Deep experience.
I was thinking recently about the 862 x 862 world size in Xbox 360 edition - even with the balanced seed setting and biome size set to small it’s pretty likely that there will be some materials that you just can’t get in survival because your patch of land didn’t get a specific biome.
I get that they made the world size limited because the 360 wasn’t powerful enough for an infinite one, but I think 4J could have potentially used the Nether to mitigate this by having a Nether portal in a different location output you to a fresh 862 x 862 level. So then you could have a larger overworld made up of several smaller overworlds with the Nether as the travel hub connecting them, and you could take resources from one level to another. You could even write some code that favours generation of biomes that the player doesn’t already have access to, so if your first level has no desert your second level would be more likely to contain one, and so on.
