Idk I just love the idea of defending your fortress from hoards of enemies during the night, while rebuilding and improving defences during the day. Non of this pillager nigger shit either, I need mobs that can break down doors and destroy fortifications. A full on Helms Deep experience.

There definitely are several, just depends what version you play. One of my favorite mod packs uses one.

One was famous back during 1.7.10's peak called Epic Siege Mod. There's also one called "Nox: Renoxed." There's definitely more out there but I can't name much.

Rebirth of the Night. It's one of those "making minecraft good again" packs but I think it probably has one of the best gameplay designs in that category. Iirc it was embroiled in some weird drama because the head dev was a tranny (of course), but trannydev resigned and handed it over to the other pacemakers who have been working on it since.
 
Does anyone else remember those "server browser" apps on IOS? Where people would advertise their server? I remember I found great shit from those back in the day.

Also, I hate how Microshit murdered the version titling. It used to be [(re)write].[update].[bugpatch], like literally every single other game and software, now they just don't give a fuck. Microshit will ruin everything you hold mildly dear.

Tbh I literally only found out because I joined the discord temporarily to get a few files and saw the posts in the announcement channel. All things considered they've kept things surpringly professional, the announcement didn't even have any juicy info in it.

Was trying to find what was causing huge TPS lag despite mobs being reduced greatly. This chicken is uh...something. Also damn, Observable is a great mod for finding this shit, also makes a list of what is causing high "μs/t" (check faq). Didn't help much when I killed it but I'm still working on it. Also something interesting I found when I force closed the world:

As far as I'm aware, that mod no longer exists because of that backdoor, however when I found the mod author who apparently made that now deleted mod, I noticed I did have a single mod from them, Scorched Guns 2: Blueprint Recipes, that's when I realized that ATLauncher managed to find this core and even download it when I installed the blueprint mod as it is a requirement. While that doesn't affect me since this is single player, now I can't trust the blueprint mod either since who knows what kind of code is on there that no one has found yet. Modniggers I swear...
Speaking of modniggers, I think I found a TPS killing mod on par with Alex's mods, Epic Hunt. None were individually as bad as that chicken but all together it makes using it not worth it. Just wanted more generic animals but eh, whatever.

Video on the musiks but he also went around on some changes like worldgen and textures being utter shite, he even mentioned to liking the new songs, watch at .85x if you think der nigger speaks too fast.
Comments seem to disagree with him saying that the new music is meant for the player since they are meant to play on specific biomes to set a specific mood and will usually play on repeat while C418 is the music meant for the player to enjoy.

I want to point out that this absolute dumb nigger didn't even do basic research about when beds were even added, citing "beta 1.7.10" as "the version beds were added". Claiming he got it from anecdotal sources, which is wrong on so many levels I can't even imagine what else he got incorrect. So, dismissed.
