MIT Publishes Uplifting ‘Communism for Kids’ Book - Academia Meets Social Justice: What Could Go Wrong?

he prestigious MIT Press has published a book aimed at children titled Communism for Kids that portrays communism in a positive way that brings happiness to everyone.

The publishing house, MIT Press — which is affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology — normally publishes books in the fields of scientific thought, arts and architecture, philosophy, computer science and other “hard science”, The Washington Times reported. Communism for Kids, however, has become one of its first attempts at children’s publishing.

How do you get accepted into MIT and allow the "it's just the wrong form of communism" thought get to you? I figured science would've killed that idealism long ago.
I thought MIT is extremely capitalistic in their aggressive pursuit of patents?
Do patents even work in a communist system?

How would a predatory institution that survives on 50,000-100,000 USD student loans thrive in a communist economy?
They're probably under the impression that under a communist society, Bernie sanders would give them 3-4 times that per student, when in reality, they'd be lucky to get 2,000 to 5,000 dollars per student.

(Most of this is probably bullshit, though)

Under a 'communist' society, they wouldn't receive anything from tuition fees, because in a socialist state, education, including higher education, is 100% free of charge. Also, all universities in that scenario would be state-owned - there would be no place for the owners. Tough luck, comrades!

Concerning the book - someone should digitize it. I bet it's some awfully unconvincing BS that would have made Soviet state ideologists and propagandists die from cringe.
