edit: I've seen normies linking to this thread on twitter, I want to make sure they understand what munchies are. "Munchie" is slang for "munchausen's", a mental disorder in which people knowingly make up symptoms in order to get attention from health care professionals. This thread is for keeping track of JY's fake medical problems, hospital trips, etc. (side note: muchausen's by proxy is more widely known, but a rarer disorder, and involves knowingly making someone else sick for attention. )

The information here is from Yaniv's statements on Twitter, Facebook, videos he made, and his appearances before the Langley town council (TOL) and British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal (BCHRT). The exceptions are a few items by IRL observers as noted in specific items below. He complains of his privacy being violated but continues to make public statements about private health issues.

Do Intersex Men Have Periods?

I’ve been asked to comment on some of the claims made by Jessica Yaniv in their recent British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal hearing (there’s some background to the case here for those not familiar with it), as well as other comments they have made in the past pertaining to being intersex.

Let’s get the easy one out of the way first, Yaniv has said in the tribunal that intersex means people having “both genitalia”. This is a common misconception. I’ve written about ambiguous genitalia and what this meansbefore (clue: it’s not both), so I’m not going to go into detail again here. Suffice to say, if Yaniv has a penis, they do not also have a vagina. The claim I am going to explore in more detail is that Yaniv has periods.

To begin with, let’s remind ourselves what a period is. A period is part of the menstruation cycle, namely monthly bleeding caused by the shedding of the lining of the uterus and unfertilised ova. Menstrual blood flows from the uterus through the small opening in the cervix and passes out of the body through the vagina. You can find a more detailed description here, should you need it.

I think it’s fair to assume, as we know that Yaniv cannot have “both sets of genitals” and that the cases are centred around the waxing of genitalia, that Yaniv has a penis. If they had a vulva (there has been a lot of talk of waxing vaginas – let’s be clear the vagina is internal, the vulva external), then I assume they would not be making up claims of both sets of genitals or evading answers about their own body parts.

So, the obvious question is; can a person with a penis menstruate?
The condition I’ve seen most used to back up this claim (Yaniv isn’t the first, to be fair), is Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome (PMDS). PMDS occurs when there is a mutation in the AMH gene. I’ve written a bit about the AMH genebefore, but here’s a quick reminder – female reproductive organs develop from the Mullerian duct. In typical male development, the gene AMH causes this structure to break down. In cases of PMDS the gene does not activate, so a uterus and fallopian tubes develop alongside male reproductive organs – a penis and testes.

PMDS is rare, and a quick scan of the scientific literature reveals that men with PMDS run an increased risk of certain testicular tumours, which really puts to bed the suggestion that men with PMDS ovulate. We know, again from existing, extensive studies into DSDs and discussions around labels such as “hermaphrodite”, that there has never been a person who has both working ovaries and testes. I did find one example of a man with PMDS who was found to have some ovarian tissue, although it is clear from the paper that this was not functioning, and there is no suggestion that the patient reported any symptoms of menstruation. It’s also worth noting that the uterus in PMDS cases is often misplaced and severely underdeveloped.

There are other, rare DSDs, such as mixed gonadal dysgenesis (MGD), where a person with a penis can be born with a mixture of ovarian and testicular tissue and with internal female organs but with male genitalia (MGD can also present with female genitalia, although whether male or female, the genitalia is likely to appear ambiguous at birth). Again, these cases are not hermaphrodites. MGD can present with any mix of gonadal tissue. This can include ovotestes (gonads with a mix of testicular and ovarian tissue – these are non-functioning), streak gonads (where reproductive tissue is replaced with functionless, fibrous tissue) and sometimes either a single working testis or ovary. MGD is always apparent at birth, as it would also involve ambiguous genitalia. If the presence of a functional ovary were detected, this would lead to female sex being recorded. Similarly, a functional testis would lead to male sex being recorded. So, even in complex cases like this, we do not encounter men having periods.

I have come across two news stories about men menstruating and have seen people refer to these before, so I’m going to try to address these here too. Firstly, there is this case, in which a man with PMDS claims to have a complete reproductive system, including ovaries and a history of menstruation. As already stated, it would be impossible for anyone to have both working testes and ovaries, and the man clearly also states that he had a successful operation on an undescended testicle when he was a baby, so it seems likely he is confused about the ovaries. This seems to be related to him having experienced blood in his urine. It’s worth pointing out that blood in the urine is not uncommon with PMDS, in fact it is often what alerts adults with PMDS who have gone undiagnosed as babies to their condition. This is thought to be caused by hormone imbalances, not menstruation.

The second case is this one from China. This is much simpler to explain as the person in this case had been raised as male but was actually female with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), meaning their genitalia had appeared virilised at birth, and so they had been recorded as the incorrect sex. It’s worth noting that incorrect sex assignment is increasingly rare and even in this case did not result in an unambiguous male appearance in adulthood.

It’s probably worth, as a final note, mentioning that no other DSDs which result in an unambiguous male phenotype would involve the presence of any of the necessary organs for menstruation. XX males, males with Klinefelters, MAIS, PAIS, 5-ARD deficiency, etc, all have testes, although not necessarily fertile.

In summary, there is no DSD where someone with male genitalia menstruates. There are a number of complex conditions that can lead to a mix of internal organs. These often involve other health implications and can be traumatic and life changing for people to come to terms with upon diagnosis. They are not fun talking points by which other people can validate their gender identities by the spreading of misinformation. It does not help people with those conditions.
One thing that does strike me is that as long as intersex is being kicked around in cases involving gender identities, by people with no real knowledge of what it means, there should be an insistence that the evidence and claims cannot be used without an actual DSD expert to assess the validity of them first. It’s disappointing and frustrating to see trans activists being allowed to get away with this, and capitalise on their own and other’s ignorance, to advance a political movement that really has no interest in intersex matters or reality.

Yaniv makes endless attention-seeking claims about his health, rarely providing enough information to establish what ailments he actually has. Starting in April 2019, the Kiwi Farms has compiled those claims and any third-party information that became available, including 123 pages of summaries from online consultations he had with doctors in 2019.

At the bottom of this post, below the spoilers, are pdf monitors displaying the details by category and in a timeline. Another good source of information on Yaniv's physical and mental health is the JY Meow Mix blog and its Meowtube gallery of photos and videos. TL;DR:

He's intersex? No, he's a man who's said he has "deformed" genitals, including what he calls a "tiny" penis. He has provided both online doctors and appalled female correspondents with pictures of his male genitalia. He says he's been on synthetic female hormones since 2018. He lies about having a vulva, ovaries, and an "inactive uterus." He also lies about having periods.

He's had GRS? In May 2020, he sent a photograph of his penis to a woman on a lesbian dating app and it ended up on the Kiwi Farms, proof positive that he hasn't undergone GRS. He was, however, assessed beginning in September 2019 by a new GRS program at Vancouver General and told a judge setting a sentencing date in his prohibited weapons case that he planned to be out of the province for surgical consultation in April 2020, which might have been for GRS in Montreal. COVID-19 shutdowns intervened.

He's dying of cancer? No. He's claimed to have brain, breast, "chest," and skin cancer. But what he has are an arachnoid cyst in his cerebellum that his doctors are not eager to remove, moobs that sometimes hurt because of the synthetic female hormones he takes, and a skin condition called acanthosis nigricans, common among obese diabetics, that creates weird patches of dark skin.

He has a spinal injury? Maybe. A doctor's said that xrays show a flattening of the spine's usual lumbar curve and he reports the type of pain caused by sciatica. He's claimed it's the result of a massage table collapsing under his weight and from a Rebel media reporter allegedly hitting him with a car, but he's also had repeated falls, has over-supinated feet that can cause leg, hip, and back pain, and is both obese and out of shape, which can also cause those problems.

He has epilepsy, paralysis, ataxia, or syncope? No. Some of his fainting and trips to the ER seem to be caused by pigging up sugar and both under-dosing and over-dosing on diabetes meds. A neurological cause seems to have been debunked after a full range of diagnostics, including EEGs and MRI/CT scans. Several neurologists have refused to accept him as a patient and a neurosurgeon has had him wait a year for a consultation that the doctor says will reassure him that his symptoms aren't caused by the arachnoid cyst. His use of a mobility scooter and walker seemed to stop precisely when his attempt to claim disability benefits were rejected. He no longer has a handicap parking tag.

He's a drunk? Yes. He's clearly boozy in some of his video chats, has told girls he's flirting with that he's been drinking while on "heavy" pain meds and drank so much the previous night that he "fainted," has posted about getting drinks (plural) at a Vancouver bar, has been seen by a neighbor dumping numerous booze bottles into the strata recycling bin, and showed a collection of more than 40 booze bottles in a Snapchat he had with a 16-year-old.

He's suicidal? He suicide baits in very calculating ways but is demonstrably mentally unstable and takes risks by combining painkillers and alcohol. In April 2019, the RCMP pulled him off a bridge and took him to an emergency room, where he thumb-typed his rage into Facebook about not having had any intention of jumping. He was briefly on an antidepressant and stopped taking it abruptly despite being told he needed to taper off if he was going to stop. He said the drug was making him more depressed, something that can actually happen with SSRIs.

He's a sped? Yes. He was a special education student who attended primary school with a wrangler by his side. He appears to have continuing cognitive impairments and has been unable to hold down a job or establish social connections. He has motor difficulties as well, using writing implements awkwardly and moving with a clumsy gait. In 2019, he began wearing hearing aids on both ears and told his online doctors he had experienced a 50% hearing loss. His mother and her sister also have hearing impairments caused by genetic mitochondrial disease. He's trying to get into the Complex Chronic Diseases Program they're in.

Also among his maladies are:

uncontrolled type 2 diabetes,
mild sleep apnea,
folliculitis, and
some kind of respiratory ailment that leaves him short of breath even when standing still.

In the horrifying Yaniv Chatlogs from 2008 thread, Jonny talks to a young girl about constant clear discharge from his dick (which is why he uses pads). He also nonchalantly mentions bleeding from his asshole as a separate issue.

The girl tells him that the asshole bleeding sounds like a symptom of the stomach ulcer that he had previously mentioned to her.

Disclaimer: I'm just a medical historian. I have no clinical background.

Catching up slowly, but @wabbits has been doing such a spectacular job I didn't feel it was my place to comment this time. I haven't seen much of what others have said re: his incredible list of health complaints, so a lot of this has probably been discussed to death.

However, he's following a pretty typical male pattern of malingering, not the female "munchie" pattern. He's not really after attention despite his obvious personality disorders. Like the transgenderism, the illnesses are all just a way to get some other thing he wants: winning his stupid tribunal cases for $$$, getting access to little girls in vulnerable circumstances, conning young girls into feeling sorry for him because he's disabled and possibly get into terrible situations (ala Ted Bundy's fake broken arm), a convenient excuse for when his behavior gets called out, whatever. Probably getting some decent drugs out of it to boot. I don't know about Canuckistan but the ERs near me will pretty much give you IM ativan without question if you go in there acting hysterical, at least for the first couple of times. Burns like the fires of hell but hey, suffer through it for a few seconds and you get that magic carpet ride.

He may or may not have hydrocephalus but I'm leaning towards not. I saw the posts from Dear Leader about that. It can affect adults at any age but usually it's like, you have it as an infant or you develop it once your grandkids are graduating high school. I don't think there's a tumor, even a small one that isn't causing any other problems, so I'm guessing it would be normal pressure hydrocephalus which has no known cause in a lot of cases. However that's often mistaken for Alzheimer's or Parkinsons because it mostly affects the elderly and it causes memory loss and problems with logic and reasoning. Not in the Yaniv "twisting logic to get my way and stand by my ridiculous lies" sense but the actual "does not even realize their logic is incorrect" ways. They also tend to end up pissing themselves a lot. So that's fun. Also, the mobility and movement problems caused by that are not what he's describing. Untreated NPH has a definable and recognizable gait abnormality.

You can see that handsome fella is afraid of losing his balance and shuffles along with his feet at a wide angle and his arms held out. He doesn't lose all sensation in his legs at random. And Yaniv's been shown walking with the gait of someone who is morbidly obese and deconditioned, not a person fighting gravity because of neurological problems. I think this is just another lie to get out of situations that aren't going exactly to his liking (plus a scooty puff!) However I'm def willing to stand corrected here as I don't know much about how hydrocephalus would present in young adults.

Hormones: highly doubt it. Not to beat a dead and bloodied horse but he doesn't have any interest in transitioning. He's not even an AGP that gets off on dressing like a sexay laday and fondling his moobs. He's just a pedophile and a racist sex pest who is abusing a loophole. "Hot flashes" could just be the fact that he's fat and overheats easily and the claimed hormone-related mood swings just look like Cluster B temper tantrums to me.

Suicidality: the fact that he's always released the same day shows how serious the medical professionals of the Township of Langley take Mr. Yaniv's "attempts" and threats.

Most of his other problems are easily explained by the fact that he's a fat fuck who stuffs his body with the junk foods and sugar, doesn't exercise or even walk, and possibly overmedicates himself. He feels like shit because he treats his body like shit, and probably has just enough real symptoms to get doctors to actually pay attention to him once every 30 or so ER trips. I'm guessing the majority of physicians who treat him just tell him to eat better, exercise, and lose weight. Since he's, by his own claims, not treated for his obvious Beetus despite having that Freestyle Libre CGM a while back, he might have a whole host of symptoms like numbness in his feet, blurry vision, headaches, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, fainting or "fading out." But thing is there's a real easy solution for that: get your ass off the scooty puff, take your little mop of a dog for a walk, and stop drinking $1 liters of pop and eating junk food meals.

Now that Yaniv has his Rascal all his actual health problems caused by obesity and deconditioning are going to get worse. He's going to feel like human garbage all the fucking time. He might get pressure sores that won't heal because his beetus prevents it. He's going to malinger his way into real and dangerous health problems, possibly to death (god willing.)

A few years back, when Jaquie was at the top of her game, a couple of munchie hunters did an informal experiment where we lived like our subjects for a while: took too much OTC medication especially benadryl, ate the worst food in tiny toddler-sized portions, laid around in bed all day and did as little exercise as possible, didn't hydrate properly. Spoiler alert: you feel like shit. Your body's not meant to do that. All you want to do is sleep and the more you sleep the more you hurt. You start to forget things and can't keep track of what you've said from one minute to the next which for someone telling the truth just means you repeat yourself but for a liar means you contradict yourself because you can't keep track of what you said. When you do try to get out of bed you get dizzy and almost pass out. Without any schedule or anything to look forward to nothing matters anymore and you get depressed real quick. With nothing better to do you hyper-focus on every little thing your body does, things you would normally ignore.

When you teach a kid to play an instrument you're supposed to teach them they have to practice at least six days a week. Every day they don't pick up their instrument sets them back way more than half-assing a 15 minute session would. Same theory. Even if you just briskly walk the dog around the block or something, you're making your cardiovascular system do some actual work and "training" it so that it doesn't do dumb shit when you stand up. Yaniv (and the wheelchair munchies) don't do this. They sit around in their chairs and don't even do the minimal walking a lazy person does. They are absolutely fucking their bodies right up. This is why they hesitate to give scooters and wheelchairs to old folks: once they're in it, they're going to decline right quick and in a hurry.

tl/dr; he's a malingering pedophile with obesity-related problems and a personality disorder. He's making his actual problems worse, probably on purpose, but straight up lying about most of it. His end goal is always to get some material thing out of it (money and/or sexual gratification from little girls.) That it also gets attention is just a side effect.

The intersex bullshit is incredibly frustrating as Yaniv keeps using it as evidence in the tribunal, but can't even name the condition he has - ergo, it's an obvious lie. He's so ignorant of what intersex is and how the different conditions present that this should be an immediate red flag to Cousineau and everyone else at the BCHRT. Why no-one has called him on this yet I don't know. Lying about something that has well-documented medical classifications should be an easy call. That he's being allowed to lie so blatantly in a legal setting without being challenged is kinda horrifying. I can understand giving the wronged victim the benefit of the doubt, but at this point even a blind Chinese dog knows Yaniv is a vexatious litigant. Talk about exposing the BCHRT for the farce it is.

So, what's the name of your intersex condition, Jonny boy? Simple question, and if you've lived with it all your life to the point where you started your periods at 13 despite having a penis, you should definitely know as you'd have been under the care of a hospital specialist. No-one is asking for a medical examination, just the name of your condition. "It's complicated" isn't an answer, btw. I pulled this one from the main thread because it really caught my eye when it was first posted. I would absolutely not be surprised if he had KS for real (and didn't know it). It would explain his claims of "deformed genitals" if he had small testicles, cryptorchidism (undescended testicle), and/or hypospadias - especially if he never had any surgeries to repair the latter. Or if he did and the outcome was... less than ideal. Doesn't excuse anything by any means though.

As an aside, the BIID people probably have a better case for "we're all gonna die if you don't give us free surgery" than trans people do. Those guys will literally stick thier legs on train tracks and blow their feet off with shotguns. Some surgeons actually have amputated them on occasion for this exact reason.
