𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
When I said worse, I meant making it a more efficient propaganda machine, or in other words improve the niggercattle plantation, I wasnt sure at the time if it was possible to make it a better plantation than it was under the indian regime
I meant making it worse for the users (and the "elite" users were in fact using it as a propaganda machine).

Absolute shit show.
Old cached links were very nice to find a lot of old accounts.

According to posts on Fediverse sites, it's going to use ActivityPub to connect to other instances of Mastodon/Pleroma etc, and they're going to throw money at larger instances to get them to federate together.

It can't be a coincidence this is happening 7 days after the Twitter API changes. My schizo side is telling me Musk is killing twitter on purpose to get some benefit from Facebook.

It also makes it considerably harder to keep receipts on lolcows, especially the more egregious ones who'd love to see KF dead and buried.
It also makes it considerably harder for them to have any impact outside their tiny little troon circlejerk when nobody can read their incessant spewing anyway and it doesn't show up on search engines. I have lost count of the times the first hits for some actually useful search term is shat up by insane gibberish from troons just because they're on Twitter.

Let's just be clear about one thing.
The people that you see in this thread beating their chests about how they want Twitter to die were fucking ecstatic less than a year ago when Elon took over, and their posts are easy to find.
Now when they are seeing that the Chief Manchild is driving this into the ground and that there are no more libtards to be owned, just Ching Cheongus and Shelllllllenbergers, they have switched their narrative and suddenly are above the fray and distant, mocking observers of an inevitable death.
The sad truth about a lot of users on this site is that they are obsessively in search of some Internet daddy or another, always fawning over some celebrity or another, and always expecting that the Great Huwhite Hope blumpf or muskovitch will perform some miracle for their ass.
Permission to switch narrative denied lmao
He's right.
And he describes exactly what happened when trump was elected.
The top hats just prove the point.

It appears that Musk has allowed non logged in users to view tweets again, so this can be properly archived. But, profile pages are still off limits.
You still have to be logged in to view tweets from what I can see. What's changed here is that archive.today has created a twitter account so they can archive stuff. If it works, it works I guess.

I'm also having trouble replicating it. archive.ph and archive.is are just endlessly loading for me when I try to archive a random tweet. Possibly it got rate limited? Ok got it to work once. Still seems inconsistent.

Archive.ph is using this Jan. 2020 account to archive stuff, fwiw. Nothing notable about it I can see.

Accounts 'similar to Tomas' are a bunch of fags, trans, and furries. Gives some insight into who's running archive.today.

No it doesn't. The criteria for "who to follow", based on an account, is still a black box with no obvious patterns. Look at who the account actually follows and you can see there's no relationship with the recommended accounts.

In my limited testing the 'who to follow' algorithm provides accounts that are in the same general twittersphere. For 'Tomas' it looks like this:

Ye, because that's just what the Internet needs - to have it's largest websites even further centralized.

If this was intentionally someone with Fuck You Money trying to collapse the system, I'd probably laugh and just keep pirating things. I don't get where the worship of Elon comes from, but watching his orbiters is almost as funny as watching the sped himself.

Never thought I'd be defending Google owning Youtube over literally anyone else, but here we fucking are. Stop the Clown World, I want off...
