Bronies are basically are subculture of basement-dwellers that are infatuated with the My Little Pony franchise. They are known for being one of the most prominently autistic fandoms around and produce many lolcows.

They can range from slightly normal to outright cringe.

There was a kerfuffle about whether purple is black in the mlp world. It was or wasn't depending on whether they wanted to call MLP racist or not. I'm not even making this up.

Oh yeah, I remember that in one of the simulators. Some autists thought about that and came to the conclusion that Twilight was like half-black or something because of the stripes in her hair or something like that.

Possibly to some of the artist since zebras are from Africa, never mind the fact that it could give unfortunate implications. Really, he could of just made Brown be a red horse but even then, there is still the fact that portraying him as a pony could give off unfortunate implications as well.
