The internet lies; its color IRL is far more white than those pictures look like.

The Good:
  • Roomy (i recommend using a size smaller than otherwise you wear, this thing is designed with combat webbing and stuff underneath it.
  • Not that hot but can make you windproof, its fairly thin so even if its warm you can wear it.
  • Huge pockets, i estimate you can put 4 m16 magazines in each of the 2 lower pockets.
  • Has adjustable cuffs and you can extend a triangular thingie for rain or if you wear gloves.
The Bad
  • I got a Brazilian made clone, i assume the original surplus one that is 20$ has far superior quality
  • The ripstop fabric feels like canvas.
  • The hood it comes with is nearly useless
  • It is not waterproof and it will get wet fast, although it dries very fast.
  • Doesn't come with a liner (My case only) and it costs half of the entire jacket.
  • Get the ones with metal zippers, the plastics ones sucks.
Anyway i give it a 8/10 i wear it nearly daily to go to college, it looks cool enough with a pair of jeans and brown boots, so its my daily college driver ever since winter (in august) here.

are you a euro or something? Americans don't wear these and they cost way more than $20.
Im pretty sure you can find those used army surplus ones for quite cheap.

About the american thingies, i thought it was a pop culture thing, nearly every movie, game, comic i saw had at least one character using it.

Every misunderstood loner in the movies wore these jackets, from 1969-1985. It's the Vietnam era army issued jacket.
