Have you tried contacting 911? Pretty sure they'll get to the bottom of it for you.

Oh man, I think those same shadowy government types are after me too. The robot called me and said there's a problem with my account! Which account? What kind of account? Who knows?

So obviously I gave them all my account numbers and stuff. I'm anxiously awaiting news on whether they were able to resolve whatever the problem was in whatever account they were talking about.

You know what? I changed my mind. I think you really might need to talk to somebody but you're clearly a NEET so therapy's out, and you're probably autistic so nobody else is going to step up to the plate.

Next time God opens up that window, you jump on through it, buddy.

You....you just....jump on through....

Jokes aside, I got a damned authentic looking email purporting to be from Microsoft, claiming activity on another email account.

Two problems: one, said email account isn't associated with Microsoft.
Two, I checked the account and there was no record of login (it's also linked with 2FA to my phone).

Keep both eyes open, Kiwis, the scammers never rest.

Yeah, in seriousness, I have seem some pretty legit looking phishing attempts like that. Basically, never ever click a link like that in your e-mail, go directly to the service in question and see if they are saying anything along those lines.

Ask those guys calling about your outdated car registration. They will know what to do.

But on a serious note: this future fucking sucks. I can't even talk to a salesman anymore. It's all fucking robots. Worst of all they don't even try to sell me anything half the time. Spoofed number rings, dead air, hang ups. If I ever come to power telemarketers will be hunted for sport (the fatcats making all the money not the broke-ass Pajeets maning the lines in the ass end of Bangalore).

@Shaved Kiwis I get dead air or "ni hao moonspeak". I'm lonely damnit hire Pajeet to call me and we can talk about open bob!

Whoa, no way. That's like 85% of my spam calls right now. Either dead air or Chinese. Watch, this is gonna turn out to be a prelude for an invasion from the PRC. We are gonna find out they are cold calling random US numbers and offering vast land and riches to Chinese Americans for laying the groundwork.

My mom used to get the best spam calls. She got hounded by "Microsoft tech support" for a while until I happened to be with her when she got the call. They wanted to do that whole thing where they trick you into getting remote access to your system. I was pretty bored at the time and so I spent the next fifteen minutes patiently explaining to the Indian fella from "Microsoft" how I had a Commodore 64 as he looked for more and more circuitous ways to ask whether I had a Mac or a PC. After a while the Indian dude AND his manager just gave up and started cursing at me in broken English. I politely asked them to calm down, then said Kashmir belongs to Pakistan and finally hung up as they resumed their cursing. I dunno much about Asia, but I think India and Pakistan are both pretty butthurt about that area. Something about border disputes. They actually stopped calling after that. Unlike these endless fucking robots.

That's City Hall in Vancouver a few years ago. Must be nice that you're only in the 'prelude' stages.
Anyways we're getting hugely OT here. This is an intervention thread for Shiversblood. MOAR SHITPOSTING PLOX

It probably happened because you forgot to stop all your tugboat payments from going to OPL!
