Pretty gross. I'll never understand why people chose to transition if they cant even come close to passing. I'm obviously not trans but it just doesnt seem like it fixes the problem.

0 pause is an extremely obscure run (I guess it's possible reading the route? I never really experimented with glitches), doing speedruns with weird limits are a way to get a "world record" because nobody practices the 7 hour oot run where you can't pause and equip any items whatosever (here's a Majora's Mask run with 2 pauses, a demonstration video):


Sometimes people do them to show they're possible, but I don't think a large amount of people speedrun low-pause zelda game speedruns. This video specifically has glitches that are so precise and manipulate RNG so they can't feasibly be successfully completed playing in real time. They require savestate-loading and frame-advance controller inputs.

So Cosmo deletes his online stuff because he needs a "break from bad actors" and silly me imagines he's going to focus on himself and maybe try to move on with his life... and then it so happens that "moving on" to a narcissist means "going back in time ten years to when Ocarina of Time first gave him some notoriety".

I shouldn't be impressed with this level of mental rot but I actually am. Never change dude.

That document looks like a load of BS to me. Last time I checked OoT requires exactly 4 items, and a pause equips 3 items. That means 2 pause is too simple to be interesting and 1 pause is impossible. 0 pause sounds absurd and this route sure doesn't look pauseless. If it's a 1 pause route with a misleading title then he should really write where the pause is and what he equips. Btw, I'm not an expert on OoT or anything.

The immediate problems I see are:
  • What is itemless sword escape? To my knowledge all escape methods require something, be it a sword or a stick
  • How does he plan on doing a hover and megasidehop without a shield?
  • Ocarina wrong warp requires items
  • When does he get deku nuts?
