It's now December 2020, and I believe this is when the Break The Game documentary (about Narcissa) is due, though I'm not certain about that. I'm in for 20 dollars so I expect to get a copy of the movie but I haven't received anything in my email about it since July.

There was a Kickstarter update today for Break the Game (Narcissa documentary) . Jane the director says "no news on the release date" so looks like it won't be this month.

The carts still haven't even been signed. "In progress" I bet that means trying to source them. Finding Ocarina carts isn't exactly cheap and there's no way she has any money from the kickstarter funds at that point.

Its a documentary about a guy who completely threw away his whole life so he could cry and sleep on stream, while ruining his health.
It'd be like adding sparkly animations and a dance pop soundtrack to a film about homeless heroin addicts.

Obviously the filmmakers' intentions were to show Narcissa's redemption, as the trailer says, to return to 20,000 viewers, with the help of Breath of the Wild. But we know how it turned out: Narcissa streamed tranny porn on Twitch and got banned, she gave up on Breath of the Wild because it "felt like work," as she said, ironically just a few weeks before the really interesting glitches were found in the game, so she didn't have the opportunity to break the game, because she gave up on it. And with dropping viewers and subscribers she had to beg for donations before ultimately returning home to her parents.

Guess they'll just have to delay it until Cosmo decides to speedrun a zelda game again and breaks a record. Or if he dies they could change the title to Break the Gamer.

I guess going from wildly successful and beloved streamer to walking drug addled corpse isn't that inspiring. Imagine if they portrayed the documentary in reverse: de transitioning and ending as a successful streamer. That would be quite the narrative twist.

This change bothered Narcissa immensely and she would go into disputes with the administration and their policies to make revenue to the page. Some days after her disagreement with the page's staff and being ignored, the page would be kidnapped and start redirecting to another page with the writing "I will never be used." As it was obvious, the administrators noticed it and transferred all the data to a new page that Narcissa had no control over. A little after, upon noticing that, Narcissa would give her opinion on what happened in a Stream.

Many times she would end up getting suspended due to breaking the terms of service due to inciting hate, nudity and self harm. The last straw for Twitch was when in 2018 Narcissa streamed an email that had fetish porn with bear traps (and yes, what I just said is not made up). Twitch responded by sending an email notifying all her rule breaking in the last month and finally stating her account had been suspended permanently. The suspension of her account was not only a big emotional loss, but also economical as it was her biggest source of income.
Narcissa would try to stream in other streaming platforms to mitigate the damage, one of them being Chaturbate (a porn website). Despite her attempts to continue her streaming career in other websites, it would not bring in enough money to live with, and it dried up all her savings and then finally returning to her parents' house. In February 14, 2019 Narcissa uploaded a video with the title "Goodbye", announcing her retirement from the internet.

These were only the first gameplays and many would follow, including a speedrun of Ocarina of Time that, while not breaking world records, was quite decent. Shortly after this in September, 2019, a Kickstarter goal was created for Narcissa to make a documentary about her story. This Kickstarter would reach its goal and in August 26, 2019 the first trailer was uploaded with Narcissa talking about the documentary and being optimistic about her future.

Narcissa is a perfect example of what can happen to anyone who goes through a bad period of time, and that is instead of changing positively to overcome the obstacles, she changed for the worse letting herself be taken by bad feelings. Bad feelings that definitively were born in him during the two breaking points. The breakup with his girlfriend, and the defeat at the Nintendo Championship. Sadly, what Cosmo didn't see was that despite those he still had an audience that loved him and enough money that allowed him to live comfortably being what he wanted. That is a truly tragic thing that despite this he couldn't overcome his depression(?) if not for him, but for his fans. Those fans that would watch him slowly change into a completely unrecognizable person, but even worse, a bad person.
At this point all that is left for us is to have hope that Narcissa has bettered her attitude and rehabilitated after hitting rock bottom and that in the documentary she's making in the future, she'll show she has changed for the better. This has been the history of Cosmo Wright, the speedrunner that lost his identity.

Maybe they'll just end the film after Narci's seeming "return to the top", and pretend that he had a happy ending and is now a succesful streamer once again, similar to how those 'based on a true story' hollywood films tend to take some creative liberties in order to portray their characters in a more sympathetic light
