Indeed, but I don't see how there could be any scenario where they would be able to bend the knee in this case even if they wanted to. He crossed a major line with threatening to kill staff at the company HQ. Thats not something you can sweep under the rug, for alot of reasons. They likely have a literal policy of mandatory termination of any user on the spot for doing that, along with mandatory reporting the incident to the feds, in order to protect themselves from any potential negligence lawsuits from any employees who get shot in the off chance something actually happens. I suspect their corporate insurance probably has a similar requirement in such situations in order to be covered, especially after the youtube shooter incident. So bending the knee could cause all kinds of problems, not to mention could give employees grounds to go after twitch for not taking their safety seriously after getting death threats and ignoring them, and of course the inevitable negative public attention from it
