Not like I care either way but seeing this is a 24 hour ban makes me feel safer on Cosmo's behalf. I am one of the few people who voted "never" on the thread's pool but I honestly think he might off himself right now if he loses his stream. That's the only thing going on for him right now and his pseudo-fame is an integral part of his "Narcissa" persona. He doesn't have speedrunning anymore or any fame outside his Twitch followers - not even a dedicated forum or subreddit, for all I know.

If he loses his Twitch account now, he loses everything - and there is absolutely no chance in any of the seven hells that he'd deal with losing his account for good in a positive manner. What's worse, given that "Twitch is all he has" he's still going to sleep on stream, shave his legs, cry, broadcast copyrighted content, etc, regardless of this ban, so that long-term is always right around the corner.

He seriously looks and acts like he's strung out on some shit.

He is though: people like to say "smoke weed everyday" but if you're doing it too much and for too long it can get pretty weird too, especially if you have mental issues which Cosmo is very likely to have. People like to say "weed is not as bad alcohol" but they forget alcohol can literally kill on withdrawal... like "safer than lethal" is 100% safe... Yeah, pot won't kill you but it builds up on your system and your fat and is in many ways much more mind-altering than alcohol or even cocaine.

Pot is pretty much innocuous if you're doing it recreationally (unless you are smoking it, because smoking is always bad) - but when it becomes a habit and an integral part of your life and who you are, then it could be trouble, just like any other drug... natural, pharmaceutical, legal or otherwise.

During the Twitch ban Narcissa made some crazy tweets.

The thread in question was using him as an example when asking the question about what will happen to trannies in a few years.

Cosmo loves himself too much for suicide. He's a complete hedonist and it reflects in his vices. He smokes pot and abuses depressants (does he take Xanax too? I can't remember what this guy is on) to force happiness and forget about reality but it always comes speeding back and sends him into a panic attack. We'll see him get institutionalized first if things were really getting dire for him. If he was trying to completely destroy his life he'd have stopped streaming a long time ago and popped pills in his bedroom until his savings ran dry

If he were to be banned from Twitch I have no doubt he'd just switch to Youtube or some other streaming site and smear the admins as transphobes because pandering to a liability was bad for business. It's not like he'll lose his "following" just by switching platforms and he's always got his Discord to hide away in. As long as the asspats keep coming in he'll stagnate like this for a long time

One of the replies to those tweets: "What about you being an inspiration? Because you are to me."

Imagine your inspiration being a highly mentally unstable person who livestreams themselves crying in front of a camera, never goes outside, begs for money from strangers, and consumes three fistfulls of drugs every day. Talk about setting the bar low. The bar might as well be on the fucking ground at that point.

It's not true, the guy is saying that in the hope of making Cosmo feel better about himself. Everything is just a scene, nobody can be sincere among these crowds.

Helping make speedrunning popular, turning his hobby into entertainment to people, and discovering techniques that continue to influence speedrunners to this day is something that somebody can see as inspiring. Having that sort of impact on even a tiny subculture can be the source of inspiration for people. Cosmo can certainly inspire people in some way.

But Narcissa sure can't.
