It might be pointless to ponder this since his mind is so messed up, but I wonder what kind of goal Cosmo has in mind at this point. Does he just want to spend the rest of his life locked up in that apartment chugging soy and crying while doing streams? If he wasn't so "sad" and "broken" all the time maybe he would do speedrunning again or try to have a social life that's offline. Even Chris-chan has dreams about his ideal future.

The vast majority of it is how everything is distorted. A lot of these people believe they will actually become women when that's simply not possible. It's also because media in general and popular culture absolutely hates men, likely making confused teenage boys and young socially awkward men wish they were anything but. The whole "egg" thing is a real thing, as we've seen in many threads here, and it's basically a cult at this point. Young impressionable people are being lied to, and once you've fallen into the trap it's probably too late to get out.

So I watched some of Null's stream, and also read the first few pages of this thread and have an hypothesis that might have already been mentioned and if so, this is only a +1 to it.

I think Narc is stuck in a constant "last day of a menstrual cycle"-like hormonal state, which tends to trigger a feeling of hopelessness/despair that lasts until the period shows up the next day; In this state, everyone and everything is out to get you, and it's cry city.

I am not sure if the Soylent is to blame, or really poor HRT management, could possibly be both?

Saw a bit of Cosmo's stream last night. Cosmo was complaining about he doesn't have anything to do, and essentially is waiting until Smash Ultimate comes out. This is the full extent of Cosmo's life plans.
