I knew nothing about this game or the controversy with the lesbian girlfriend. Now it's on my Wish List.
It's hilarious how ResetEra showing up to scream about a game will drive its success into the stratosphere. Whether they realize it or not, they are marketing geniuses.
Heartbeat also sounds like it has been put together pretty well. 20+ hours of content and so much other love is impressive for an indie RPG. So this wouldn't just be a revenge buy.

Heartbeat (Indie RPG) dev accused of transphobia in tweets
I keep seeing "40%" come up in the reviews and community for this game. From people who are defending the game. I'm not sure what the fuck that's supposed to mean, but I have a feeling it's something either really dumb or really hateful. Transphobic dog whistle/meme.
Poor dogs around the world are just trying to chase their tails, frisbees and eat their food. Like good doggos. But the tards on Era keep blowing dogwhistles and shrieking at them.
What a horrible world.
Who could have imagined putting kids on hormones and then cultivating the society modern day fashion troonery excels in would lead to high suicide rates? Anyone on the outside could explain this, in the echo chamber the suicides are all someone else's fault. Not your parents or your own.
It's obviously this indie game that will sell like 10,000 copies that is the reason you are severely mentally ill and contemplating suicide. Nothing to do with your life choices, the political goals you keep pushing for and the lack of actually listening to your shrink and not screaming in their face Isamu Fukui runs an asylum which takes better care of you.
But you're making fun of suicide, isn't that the same as what Resetera did to Etika?! Not really, if someone actually goes and gets help for their delusions/mental illness and tries to better themselves, good on them. These people don't do that, they're forever blaming everyone around them for their own issues and then by force trying to demand everyone changes their lives to meet the delusions they hold. What they do to lead themselves to being soo fucked up they try suicide deserves to be ridiculed to try and show others not to take the path these people choose to.
This is why the farms is an educational website which helps the future young generations not make the mistakes of their elder lolcows. We won't always succeed, there will always be lolcows, but we'll save some along the way.

The best part of it is Steam can't or shouldn't be able to do anything. It's a purely subjective call that any game ever giving 41% off should be forcefully stopped because of assmad troonery.
