If you could breathe water and pumped that water full of carbon dioxide, it'd also kill you. Carbon dioxide is harmful to breathe for extended periods for any oxygen metabolizing life form.

Venus has an atmosphere of almost entirely CO2 and a surface temperature of about 465 C / 870 F. Mercury, which is closer to the sun, is cooler at around 425 C / 800 F. And yet there's the claim that CO2 doesn't contribute to climate change somehow.

And the contact email address for the authors is an AOL account instead of one associated with any research university or organization.
And it's provided because the paper ends with them begging any scientists who want to endorse the paper to contact them.
Usually good, peer-reviewed studies published in academic journals intend to persuade on the merits of their research and arguments supported by said research, and don't include "notice me senpai" solicitations of endorsement from people who could help them look more credible.
