New study finds CO2 is not a pollutant, does not contribute to climate change - EPA on suicide watch

I get what you're saying but this doesn't work as an argument. Water is harmless but if you filled a room with it you couldn't breathe that either.
If you could breathe water and pumped that water full of carbon dioxide, it'd also kill you. Carbon dioxide is harmful to breathe for extended periods for any oxygen metabolizing life form.

I get what you're saying but this doesn't work as an argument. Water is harmless but if you filled a room with it you couldn't breathe that either.

If you fill a room 1% full of water, you will get the soles of your shoes wet.

If you fill a room 1% full of CO2, you will gasp and hyperventilate. You will develop a buzz in your ear that impedes your hearing. Your vision will dim. You will be confused.

If you fill a room 5% full of water, you will probably want to take your shoes off and roll up your pants.

If you fill a room 5% full of CO2, you will get a bad headache, intense confusion, and soon will no longer be conscious.

If you fill a room 10% full of water, you will want to be wearing shorts or a swimsuit.

If you fill a room 10% full of CO2, you will very rapidly have irreversible brain damage and die.

The research paper is a pdf hosted by wordpress.

Seems legit.

And the contact email address for the authors is an AOL account instead of one associated with any research university or organization.

And it's provided because the paper ends with them begging any scientists who want to endorse the paper to contact them.

Usually good, peer-reviewed studies published in academic journals intend to persuade on the merits of their research and arguments supported by said research, and don't include "notice me senpai" solicitations of endorsement from people who could help them look more credible.
