There's a very strong possibility that he was late in his loans. He begged money from his viewers a la DSP, didn't make enough, and they found his sorry ass and snatched him like nobody's business. They took his phone to throw off suspicion for a while until he was stuffed into the suitcase. Yamikin and Yakuza MO is very recognizable.
There was also him posing as being part of a group. It opened up an entire laundry list of trouble since broadcasting that online is a fast way of catching unwanted attention. It would have been fine if he was just pretending to be hot shit, but the fact that he was asking for money while claiming to be under a group is practically asking to get his shit kicked in.

I know a lot of TV-brained individuals will go "whoa, justice served" when a guy who got away with a crime meets some sort of grisly fate, because they're used to Bad Guys in media getting served "karma".
