A non-binary American has lost a High Court challenge against the Government over the UK's gender recognition laws.

Ryan Castellucci, a cybersecurity expert, brought a challenge over the way their change of legal gender has been recognised by British authorities.

The US national, who is now resident in the UK, changed their legal gender and birth certificate to non-binary in the state of California in 2021.

While Gender Recognition Certificates (GRC) confirm one's switch from male to female or vice versa, there is no option to be recognised as 'non-binary' in the UK.

Last November, the High Court in London heard the UK recognises changes of legal gender that have taken place in several foreign countries and states - including California.

Judges were told that, when the American tried to update their UK residence permit to reflect their gender, they were told they could not be recorded as non-binary.

But, in a ruling today, Lady Justice Elisabeth Laing and Mrs Justice Heather Williams dismissed Mx Castellucci's legal bid.

They said: 'We have decided that whenever the Gender Recognition Act refers to 'gender' it refers to a binary concept - that is, to male, or to female gender.

'The gender recognition panel, accordingly, had and has no power to issue a gender recognition certificate to the claimant which says that they are 'non-binary'.'

Last April the American said in a witness statement to the Family Court: 'In the current state of affairs, I don't even know as a matter of law what my legal gender is in the UK.

'It is striking and profoundly upsetting that I do not know how my gender would be recorded on my death certificate.'

So the fucker wormed his way into UK and sued UK for not comforming to his views, while being full blown USA citizen?

Feel like we're going to be seeing more of this from American trannies. Maybe because they're unable to file suits in the US due to freedom of speech protections?

Remember No Dong-Jones sued in an Australian court because he wasn't able to attack this website from the US court system.

It disgusts me that he and Riley Dennis were able to get permanent residency here

It's not anything to do with freedom of speech. America (California specifically) let this plaintiff identify as non-binary. The UK doesn't have that as an option. That's what they're suing about.

America already lets them identify as gender x on their passports since 2022.

The Department of State has reached another milestone in our work to better serve all U.S. citizens, regardless of their gender identity.  In June, I announced that U.S. passport applicants could self-select their gender and were no longer required to submit any medical documentation, even if their selected gender differed from their other citizenship or identity documents. Starting on April 11, U.S. citizens will be able to select an X as their gender marker on their U.S. passport application, and the option will become available for other forms of documentation next year.

Damn, can I sue Biden for sexually harrasing me over the Telegram?
He's from CA, their entire nature is going to other places and suing them for not being CA. They're the same as any third world immigrant in fleeing the shithole they come from then trying to turn wherever they fled to into the same shit hole they came from.
