Know Your Customer (KYC( regulations are a menace that have tricked billions into doxing themselves and leaking their own personal details under the guise of "security" only to later be hacked and sold to the sleeziest advertisers on the planet. However when cryptocurrency arrived to provide an alternative the masses shunned it in favor of completely exposing themselves over PayPal. This thread is for discussing more conventional payment options that are widely accepted but protect your identity.
Privacy.com allows you to create virtual credit cards that let you to enter in whatever details you want during payment. Despite being a common well-regarded recommendation they're not available outside the US.
I'd like to learn about other payment methods that allow me to use regular online checkouts without having to give away everything about myself. Does anyone know of any alternative options out there and have you used them?
