  • The Kiwi Farms was targeted with a historic DDoS attack last week. Confirmed reports of 2.8Tbps on an individual provider, topping 4.8Tbps when known volumes are added together, and possibly up to 8Tbps if the attacker is believed. This is the third of fourth largest recorded.

remember when, before the server went up, people warned that making it anarchy would attract script kiddie griefers who'd ruin it to the point where it'd become nearly unplayable for regular users? seems like they were right

I think the harder you try to continue to intentionally be dislikable, the more public opinion forms that the audience of an Anarchy server isn't worth catering to. It's very unlikely to produce any results other than increasing the likelihood that the Anarchy server will cease to be.

I want to clarify, he doesnt represent the anarchy players, at this point I just want null to commit to something and stop with the half measures.

When I joined the anarchy server I didnt know that my shit would get fucked with more by the owner fucking up than by trolls. Cant hide a base when the entire map is broken. And yes, today the most players I saw on at one time was 17.

Of course a singular person doesn't represent an entire group, but I think the louder someone acting like a stereotype like that is, the more ingrained it becomes in the minds of others around them that the stereotype is largely and generally true. There's also the consequence that it attracts more individuals like that, which largely shits up the entire group, further pushing it towards reality that the idea in others' minds is representative of reality.

Ultimately, you either get to where the group is increasingly comprised of unlikable individuals to where it drives off people interested in having a personality past "i am 1488 nigger death, king of the white race" resulting in the group being solely that, and not worth catering to; or you get to where outside opinion is that it's like that, even if it isn't. which repulses people who might have given it a chance from even trying, giving you a playerbase that slowly decays until there's not much left.

Perhaps I'm being overly dramatic, but I think that just because there's no rules on an Anarchy server doesn't mean that it should have to put up with spergs.

It was quite nice the first 2 days, till someone posted the server somewhere and the spergs flocked.
I agree with @awoo , the server shoulda been whitelisted, having to see the same 2 fags everyday getting kicked for hacking gets tiring, specially when the notice clutters the chat.

What well known, easy to understand term would you use to describe a server that has no rules aside from one forbidding hacks?
 
All I've gathered from this thread is that minecraft anarchy players are entitled, autistic faggots with the mental development of 11 year old boys
