I noticed some users who are obvious fans of these shows, plus there's Ant in lolcow with his own thread. I thought it'd be nice to have a single thread on these shows, to exchange favorite bits, clips, dramas, and personalities.

I myself am a huge O&A, R&F (yes, and Bennington) fan but aside from a couple good interviews and inside HOO-HOO jokes from O&A, I don't know much about Stern's show. Do y'all have some favorite bits of his that are worth a listen?

A classic from Ron and Fez, the famous Cakehorn compilation, in which Fez mispronounces a word and it becomes a number one trending topic in the US, much to Fez's chagrin:

A classic from Opie and Anthony, trashing Scorch, the show's loveable lolcow:

Edit: Added a few more bite-sized Ron and Fez favorites, for your listening or re-listening enjoyment.

The callers call in with their favorite street jokes:

The Buddays are giving away free tickets to Boni Jovi's concert to the tallest caller. Silliness ensues:

Fez tries to top a comedian at the drug store, the callers help him out:

Ron and Fez producer Pepper Hicks sells his own brand of pepper spray:

I liked Iris on Ron and Fez. I never got the appeal of Stern.

I didn't listen to a lot of Ron and Fez or Opie and Anthony because I lived in bumfuck. This was well before you could easily download the shit. But I loved Ron and Fez doing a live commentary on Celebrity Fear Factor and I think it was the one with John Travolta's wife and Chyna.

2007-2008 was my favorite era of radio ever. All three were awesome during this time and I listened to all three shows. I loved Stern because of Artie and Eric the Midget. I loved O&A and R&F more because of how funny the hosts were and ended up listening to them way more in the long run.

I wish i still had them to listen to. Stern has been unlistenable since Artie left. I like Anthony's new show, but it doesnt come close to O&A's vibe. Ron's show with his daughter is not my cup of tea. At least there's still YouTube.

You should check out the R&F videos in the OP, you might find some new bits you'd enjoy. Semper Fi to the internet. I live halfway across the world and would have never found those radio shows otherwise. Now look at me, I'm a full grown sperg!

Radio Bam was hilarious:

It ended around 2012 with a lot of people either dead, or a drunken hot mess.

Since it was weekly hour-long show, there wasn’t too much pressure on the radio hosts to perform so they were very casual and that kind of comfort made them perform their best

B.A.C.H number 475 buddays!
Hoorah!!

I miss Ron and Fez. Although Fez didn’t say much, him not being on is boring. I don’t really dig daddy-daughter radio.

Way to take it old-school, budday. HOO-AH!

Eh, I find Gail endearing, and I might be a little biased because she's someone I'd like to be friends with. I know it's not the same, but Ron and Fez hasn't been the same since Fez gave up ten years ago and Ron had to do all the legwork, most of the time. The couple times they fought on air - well, Ron fought, Fez cowered - you could tell Ron was really fed up, and he knew the old Fez wasn't coming back. With Bennington, I think Ron is having a really good time yucking it up with dumb Hicks and his kid. The man is living the dream, taking it easy, river nappin' into retirement.

I also think Gail and Hicks have great chemistry, and this clip is a genuinely funny moment between them:

Thats what I loved about the Ron & Fez Show. It was the John Cassavetes of radio.
