I’m not too convinced Koby will be the final boss, but I do think Koby will be the new Garp/Roger connection with Luffy in the endgame. They may come to blows, but I don’t think it’ll be anything too major.View attachment 6515930
LOOK AT THIS MOTHER FUCKING CHAD, from Zero to Hero, if he ain't got Conqurer's Haki now then he gonna have it by the end of the series.
Fuck Blackbeard and Imu, Give us Koby vs Luffy as the last fight.
Oh it ain't happening, but holy shit I would mark out for it.I’m not too convinced Koby will be the final boss,
I think Kalifa would consider you describing their fight like that sexual assault. My dream is to be able to soap down Nami and get her all wet and slippery. Is there a devil fruit for that?
Yeah. I would prefer Smoker to be Garp to Luffy's Roger. Age difference aside he's much better character then Coby. Unfortunately it seems he was left far behind by the power creep inflation.I dislike Koby. Never cared for him. I hope he has a panic attack and reverts to being a bitch in the presence of Alvida.
Helmleppo is cool though.
I wonder if they are switching One Piece to a seasonal Anime.
"The reason is a ‘recharging period,’ as well as a higher quality moving forward."
Somebody got busted fucking kids or had a meltdown about the Wit remake."The reason is a ‘recharging period,’ as well as a higher quality moving forward."
Sounds like there was something else going on behind the scenes they don't want to talk about. They never had "recharging periods" before now, from what I can tell?
Still go with this?I wonder if they are switching One Piece to a seasonal Anime.
A 6 month break would be a good excuse to do it and would probably be good for the quality of the adaptation.Still go with this?
They would have done it in 2009 if they were serious.A 6 month break would be a good excuse to do it and would probably be good for the quality of the adaptation.
Are things even still getting censored in the anime? I know a lot of the earlier stuff got changed around. And the pacing wouldn't last forever. Oda is still going to take at least one break a month, it'll be less than a year before the anime/manga episode/chapter difference is the same as it is now if they increase the pacing.
That's cool and all, but honestly I enjoy seeing the progression of animation over the years. Like yeah, no one's denying episodes 517-onwards had a downgrade in quality, however it does act as a time capsule for where anime (Toei) was at the time in 2011. I would hate to see the original broadcast episodes just disappear like how they memoryholed Ivankov's original seiyuu as to allow previous physical media to just go out-of-print.So what they're doing in the six and a half month interim between new episodes (other than making a fuckton more sakuga clips for all of the action scenes coming up) is going back to previous post TS arcs and remastering them. I don't particularly mind this and it probably means that the Wit remake is going up until the end of pre-TS while Toei cleans up post-TS.
This means:
- The visual filters that Wano onwards has
- Condensed Episodes (think One Pace)
- A redub in dolby
- Probably more sakuga scenes peppered in there somewhere
