Am I missing the point for not giving a fuck if Blade does a private stream? Guy is an amputee late-stage alcoholic living in casino hotels with his dying mother. Are they trying to hold him to some kind of content creator code of conduct?

Would be nontent anyway since 80% of the fun is him reacting to the TTS.

So Ive been thinking of the call between blade and Jake where Jake says blade committed and continues to commit fraud. I was wondering if there were monetary rewards for calling it in. In my state there is anyway. Sure enough Washington appears to be one of those states where you can recover substantial money for reporting fraud.

I have to think someone reported him by now.

I am not sure what the fraud would be but I imagine his mom gets stipends for medical stuff, which blade uses for his lifestyle.

With the disclaimer that I don't know anything about Washington law, taxes or carer arrangements, see below from @Locust Day, at the time.

Plenty of people reported him and nothing has happened.

Nothing ever happens.

At-home caregivers are classified as "Household Employees." As such, they fill out a W-2, and income taxes are withheld. So the money Blade is kicking back to "smurf" has already been taxed.

I've been looking into this and, honestly, it looks like Blade isn't doing anything illegal. Household Employees are allowed to arrange for someone else to perform their duties, as long as it is OK with their employer (in this case, Blade's mom. The caretaker is an employee of the person under care, not of the state.). So, the arrangement is something like this: Blade's mom hire's "smurf" to be her at-home caretaker through her Medcaid program; "smurf" then hires Blade to fill in for him, paying him out of his caretaker salary (in this case, 90%). As long as everyone involved - Blade's mom, "smurf," and Blade - are agreeable to this, everything's aboveboard.

It is not illegal for a private citizen to pay a felon to be a caretaker. It's just that the state, on principle and for liability's sake, won't directly pay a felon to be a caretaker. This arrangement is just a workaround. (I assume "smurf" assumes liability if Blade does something illegal or unethical in the course of his duties, in which case he could lose the ability to be a caretaker.)

The only question is if Blade is properly reporting his "under-the-table" earnings.

I mean its not unethical or illegal...

I just think its lame as fuck and embarrassing for both the guy paying 2k and the guy getting paid to drink alone for another man...

It's also relevant to him so I dont find it weird at all to show proof and give a take about it. That's 99% of this site so its kinda weird to want to act like its not relevant and no one can comment about it.

If a paypig wants to spend money to watch a loser drink alone more power to them but im also allowed to have an opinion and my opinion is its sad and gay...

I lost Kingcobra and I went to blade?

That’s fucked up isn’t it.
I truly enjoy when he calls randoms nigger. Because good god.

ETA. Never sent money to anyone btw. Because yeah that’s odd

Someone has all of Blade's contacts' phone numbers and spoofs them - I thought that was a troll that called.

You can't piece together that this caller is a troll and not actually Jake? You are legit retarded dude. Actually mentally retarded

It's because wings of redemption alogs have attached themselves to blade and dsp. Wings is MIA, quit the internet, for some months now so they moved on. Dumb shit like this is very typical of them.

I can't walk by rotisserie chickens anymore without thinking "What up, chicken nigger?".
That one stream Jake shows up in a hurry and just drops a rotisserie chicken then goes away, and Blade just eats it with his bare hands while looking COMPLETELY dead inside is one of the top Blade moments ever.

not sure if this is new but

I figured it out and got a 8:17

Tuesday's stream was complete nontent as usual, he barely got any donos for firesales and stuck to playing CoD. Only thing worth noting is Blade mentioned Peggy is now in some sort of facility, possibly in assisted living. She calls him mid stream to tell him to come pick her up.
If he's still picking her up, it's probably like a senior "daycare" type situation.
