I just hope he keeps his word and actually goes to the hospital and gets help. The longer he puts it off the more likely that when it catches up to him he actually dies or at least suffers that much worse. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets back to Seattle and just starts hotel hopping doing litty streams and keeps ignoring his foot.

I would assume he has it just because, well, look at it. But I'm holding off on saying it's 100% the case because I don't recall who originally said it. Did Blade himself say the hospital staff told him it's gangrene? If so and he still checked himself out, he's even more insane/retarded than we thought.

As far as how he got out, I have little doubt in my mind that he just got up and said I'm out. I imagine if someone is well enough to get up and walk out on their own, and they're determined to do so, the hospital might not have any legal grounds on which to stop them. And for the staff there, I'm sure they're all secretly grateful for him to GTFO and end up as someone else's problem, Lord knows he ain't gonna pay the bills that come from any treatment or surgery he undergoes.

He's probably in denial or just doesn't want to be stuck in a hospital somewhere that isn't where he actually lives. Or, he is giving his foot one last hype before it gets cut off ayo.

One of those orbiters (i forget, thread moves fast) said he was there when the nurse told him blade has gangrene. The nurse told him to smell it. Someone clipped a 20 sec vid of him recounting it. It was last night. Blade didn't say shit far as I can tell. But he was out super fast. I would assume he'd be in the ER for a long time then probably admitted to the hospital where they'd discuss the facts of life with him. Doesn't sound like something Blade would be down for.

and lol, You can absolutely NOT just get up and leave from the ER. They will restrain you - not the nurses/doctors, security will. Legal grounds have nothing to do with it. In order to leave before they think it's medically safe to let you go, tou have to sign an AMA and that takes some time, but after that, they have no real choice but to let you go. But if you're a stumbling, vomiting delirious drunk/druggie, saying some nefarious "i'm gonna kill someone/myself" type shit, an AMA won't help you. They don't care about you being able to pay the bills either. Most hospitals legally cannot deny you care even if you're broke. You WILL pay later but what matters in the moment is you not dying. tl;dr no you can't just get up and leave no matter how much of a stinky asshole streamer you are.

Any medical kiwis please feel free to correct me. But that has been my experience in the ER. It's a pain in the ass to leave, and why would you want to?
