Socks ... would not do well in that situation. I've no doubt he's tried it at least once (since there's obviously no sensation there for him anymore). Socks "wick moisture away from the skin." Think about what that means in this context. Think about what that "moisture" would be. Now think about what socks do with the "moisture" they wick.

He could always peel off the hoof-moistened sock and wring it out into his jager for subs (or just for a bit of extra flavor)

Definitely not septic but he did say toward the end of his vegas trip he was going to discharge himself if they recommended amputation. I've learned my lesson to not play doctor with this nigga though the time scale for which he is decaying is completely random and unknowable ayo
