OP elitism

Why do threads from 2013 have such bad OPs like this one https://kiwifarms.net/threads/margaret-margo-venusangelics-mom-former-thread-title-venusangelic.580/ without any backlash whereas threads now must have a publishable 1000 word essay as an OP or else have backlash against them

Because they were primitive savages back then in the Stone Age.

The site was a while lot smaller back then, and the culture was different. If short, uninformative OP's were allowed now the boards would be overwhelmed with threads that were just glorified personal army requests.

What if we had a sub board for shitty OPs that a thread could be moved out of if it gathered enough content

As said before, it was a different time back then. The lol-cow board was a new thing and along came some topics where the OP was short and would assume you'd get the idea from reading an ED article or just watching the video rather than filling the user with all the known details. It wasn't long before having some shit OP's that the person behind the OP would have to give more than just a video and one sentence. Besides, we would like to know what the cow in question does. Giving one sentence isn't really much.
