Remember Rollercoaster Tycoon 2? Of course you do. But ever try to play it on modern hardware, it's a pain in the ass, you don't have any good resolutions, and it has weird limitations from the era.
Well apparently a group of programming-spergs have been painstakingly reverse engineering RCT2 into an open source library similar to the excellent Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe project that preceeded it. It supports any windowed resolution, has several bugfixes and changes, and twitch support oddly enough. At the moment it still requires an install of RCT2 to fetch files from, but they seem to want to go the OTTD path of eventually having it be standalone, although the spritework would remain the single largest obstacle to it. Either way it's a great way to enjoy RCT2 on modern hardware.

Also gonna plug Open TTD which doesn't even need the source files like OpenRCT2 does.
https://www.openttd.org/en/ Also has an android version on the google play store.
