A take literally plucked out of nu-/g/. I don't lurk 4chan much anymore but I don't think I've seen any board, maybe sans /v/, that is as addled with pedophiles as /g/. Suppose its just the annoying autist to incel to pedophile pipeline at play.

My experience is quite the opposite. Not only did it start falling apart within a few months (due to the shitty plastic screws breaking under low stress), but replacement parts were literal months away. It was on the lower end, with specs good for the price point, perhaps explaining the tofu dreg casing; higher-end ones might actually last.
The secret (if you don't have money) is to buy a used high end one off Ebay then just fix it up. Where were you looking for replacement parts though? I've always gotten mine in less than a month off either Ebay or the Lenovo store.
The Thinkpadcel fears the HP Elitebook Chad.
HP can suck my left and right nut. I haven't actually tried their Elitebook's though so maybe they're the exception.
I'll give it to apple for being the first company to actually try a ARM computer that's not built on a smartphone chip, that's all the props they get though.
First Arm computer was probably the Acorn RISC PC 600. There have been a few other ARM-based computers over the years, primarily in supercomputing and server spaces. Apple pretending to have invented something, or to have been the first to do something, is a very old story.

If you want to get really autistic about it, the first Arm computer is the BBC Acorn Micro with the ARM1 co-processor.
The real claim to fame for Apple here is proving that ARM can actually be a competitive alternative to x86 for modern computers. I doubt x86 will go away anytime soon though for desktops or servers, although I can't see it sticking around for laptops much longer.
This, trackpads are a Jewish ploy to give us all carpal tunnel syndrome.
Stop noticing things, Goyim.
I was going to rebut but then i remembered Nicco works on KDEs UX and hes trying discredit the Asahi Lina is Hector Martin information because it came from here.

Despite being an actual woman, she looks more like a tranny skinwalking as a woman.

Typical that the Onlyfans whore doesn't understand that people make porn for free. You can't apply libertarian economic ideas to CP. Just look how much free porn there is and yet idiots still pay money to OF thots. Such a dogshit take.

It's definitely weird how much rampant pedophilia there is among the tranny and the tranny-adjacent.

Used HP business-class hardware is actually good and doesn't come with half a terabyte of bloatware. Used HP Thin Clients like the T640/T740 are my go-to for any sort of always-on networked hardware because you can typically get them for under $100 and they pack way more processing power than comparably-priced SBCs, while EliteBooks are built like fucking tanks - just off the top of my head, I know the EliteBook 8470p is built from a magnesium alloy body, which is both stronger and lighter than the aluminum that Crapple loves so, but is designed in such a way as to be readily user-serviceable. They're a bit older as hardware goes, but honestly 4th-gen Core i5s and Core i7s still hold up really well, and the fact that most 8470p's were specced with dedicated Radeon graphics helps a lot, too.

You'd never catch me buying any of HP's consumer hardware, though. Not their consumer laptops, not their consumer desktops, and ESPECIALLY not their printers.

As for the trackpads... nigga just buy a Logitech M570 wireless trackball mouse for your laptop. Mine's lasted for 10 years, doesn't need any specific sort of surface to be useful, and I've only ever changed the battery in the stupid thing... maybe four times? And unlike a trackpad, it's not constantly sperging out or giving me Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Dell laptops are an excellent value and probably the best if you don't actually need a full on desktop replacement.

fite me
Refurbished Dell business-class laptops aren't bad, but I think their consumer laptops are kind of chintzy.

healthier porn for minors
nigga what the fuck
There is no world where the words healthy and porn can go together.

So you're saying it forces good planning and engineering? Maybe Rust isn't too bad after all..
Like many things it's a trade-off. It does stand in the way of prototyping, and if you write a working prototype in another language why not just finish your project in that language? Especially if that language is more stable, everybody building against Nightly and at the most cutting of edges means that, unless you're coding in a vacuum, the ecosystem discourages the kind of long term planning the language demands.

What is genuinely great about Rust is that if your code compiles that means it's also probably bug-free. That's not memory safety for free and certainly isn't time saved as Rust preachers claim. It's because if it compiles it means you've planned your shit out properly, or you've chased down a dozen errors thrown up by the type checker and the effect is more or less the same.

Didnt the most definitive and non-chud adjecent proof/reveal that Hector was Asahi come from the retarded tranny polycule tard he was abusing with someone else? There was a google doc or a big twitter thread and everything

it seems that the "search the internet" function in ChatGPT and the like is abusing open source project servers, t's about 70% or more of the traffic and it costs them a lot of money.
