I have a general rule of not apologizing when I'm not sorry, and if etiquette demands it for some reason, it is going to be a "sorry you're a piece of shit" type apology. I also won't generally apologize for something I'd do again, because an apology is an implied promise you're going to try not to repeat the offending act.
I'd love to see Farmers appropriate these terms to describe the archiving process. Doxing is bad, but unmasking in the interest of transparency is a valuable service to the community.
I completely avoid words like "sorry" or "apology", choosing instead to go with more flexible words such as "regret", which to the untrained ear sounds like an apology.
Against such people I much prefer the classics such as "problem?" and "u mad bro?"
