>keep it's[sic] community safe
Opinion discarded.

So here's how it goes.
>Idiot asks about gay politics (likely wants his own political persuasion validated)
>Gets the answer "idc programming language we're apolitical"
>Doesn't like answer, troons throw a fit on bird app

So if you want to be apolitical, you're basically Stormfront. Got it.

(Those 2 Chinese cartoon characters' age sums up to less than 18, fyi.)

>D won't survive it they chase out troons and furries
>D is the defacto programming language for Nazis
I think they're done, right? D stands for Dead. No one uses this Neonazi transphobic racist misogynist exclusionary programming language anymore, right?

Oh no, what happened? I thought people will leave because some users don't care about libshit politics???
View attachment 5192672

tl;dr
>Troon wants his libshit worldview coddled.
>Some nobody users doesn't care, wants to remain apolitical
>Troon throws massive transtrum on bird app
>Everyone who uses D are Neonazi misogynist racist bigots that literally wants Trans Genocide
(No, being mean towards troons isn't misogynist, it's called misandry towards typically a straight White male.)
I had completely forgotten about this but I do recall hearing about it when it happened now. Thanks for the info, I just knew it had to be something I would totally agree with. I wish I could say I'm blown away at the fact a simple "we don't need politics" is enough to make them fume but there are too many faggots in programmer communities to surprise me.
Well, time to learn D and Nim.

I love how assembly - a real man's language - is more popular than the troon language Rust. Though now I'm interested in learning D after learning about how based the D community appears to be.
I don't choose my tools based on other people's opinions or about what kind of sperglords are in their gay ass "communities." D is shit and Rust is shit. But you are correct that if Rust can't even be more popular than assembly they are doing it wrong.

I love how quickly the Rust Internet Defense Force deployed to respond to the Lamey devs saying they had to restart every half and hour to fight memory leaks.

If nullptr::live sounds familiar, that's apparently the "Vtuber" group that Asahi Lina is associated with, and Inochi2D is supposedly the software they use to do the cartoon talking head.

Drew lectures people on how to apologise.

Drew's guide to a good apology:
For those who want to learn how to apologize better, here's a case study in how not to:

* Not taking responsibility for his words and instead blaming it on the medium (text) with which he cannot communicate "sincerity" (in an email that said, quote, "you are less than worthless scum")
* Implying that the apology was not necessary because he is not associated with the FSF or RMS
* Making demands (stop bullying RMS!)
* Characterizing *me* as participating in an "outpouring of hatred" against RMS

Comments are as you would expect, smug and condescending.

He didn't even bother to censor the person's email and name, this can be classified as doxing. It's fine if they do it, of course. God forbid anyone dox groomers though, innocent until proven guilty and all that rubbish.

What's the lesson here? Never apologise to these busy bodies that want to dictate how you think and regulate how you use words.

As usual, apologizing to these people is just like giving a shark "a little" blood. Makes me think though: Has Drew ever apologized for anything himself? He usually just gets himself banned, doesn't he?

Jesus Christ what a pathetic groveling apology. How much of a cuck do you have to be to prostrate yourself like this? Seems like he only did it because he failed basic opsec and stupidly used his real name in the original email. And of course it's still not enough for these fags because it's never enough.

Troll's remorse, not even once.

You are indeed less than worthless scum, Drew.

Are you not? You literally wrote a post on why Richard Stallman sucks, with the intent to cancel Richard Stallman. What's so hard to accept about this point?

Of course not, chud. Drew DeVault is always blameless and can do no wrong, bigot.

No wonder Carlos called him less than worthless scum, because he is.

The reference to "Mr. Hellekin" is a bit weird. It looks like this is someone calling himself "Hellekin O. Wolf", a socialist Ruby developer who's not been active for about 10 years. He's not part of "GNU/consensus", which appears to be Mastodon-before-Mastodon, because he resigned four years ago over RMS (https://ps.zoethical.org/t/the-injustice-of-the-word-assaulting/2776, https://archive.is/oSwtP). It's not clear why he's someone Carlos thought he should grovel to.

Plus he's hardly impartial, having fellated Drew in the past (https://ps.s10y.eu/@how/109279501817179402, https://archive.is/eyCHq).

I have a general rule of not apologizing when I'm not sorry, and if etiquette demands it for some reason, it is going to be a "sorry you're a piece of shit" type apology. I also won't generally apologize for something I'd do again, because an apology is an implied promise you're going to try not to repeat the offending act.

And just a general rule of never apologizing to a troon for anything but just insulting them some more instead.

"In the interest of transparency" is the new "consent accident" for doxing.
There's also "unmasking" from the originator of "consent accident", Elliot No-Dong.
I'd love to see Farmers appropriate these terms to describe the archiving process. Doxing is bad, but unmasking in the interest of transparency is a valuable service to the community.

I completely avoid words like "sorry" or "apology", choosing instead to go with more flexible words such as "regret", which to the untrained ear sounds like an apology.
