Diseased Open Source Software Community - it's about ethics in Code of Conducts

Which game engine should I use for a baldur's gate esque game?
Like a CRPG game? Because I really doubt you're going to be doing the 3D character animation stuff. Tyranny is in Unity, but that obviously has issues. Godot could be a replacement but I've never used it.

I don't get why there is one anyway. Why the fuck would your politics come up if you're talking about a issue, if it were to somehow come up then you're clearly off topic on what you were originally trying to fix or report a issue on. "Oh nice fix, but what are your thoughts on trump" or "oh I know how to fix that but first do you consider trump a fascist?"
I forget who said it, but a while back some faggot made a post on Mastodon that said something along the lines of open source software not being about software, but about people. That's what blackpilled me about FOSS, and explains why most (if not all) open source projects are absolute dogshit where it seems as though good software escapes by accident rather than being released by design.

TBH I feel kinda dirty even using open source software these days because of the cancer ridden AIDS-infested pile of monkeypox the FOSS community is. That sucks, because some of the stuff I've used for over a decade and works really well for my use cases.

Starting tomorrow, I'll begin work on his thread. He's earned it.
Throwback to when he accidentally showed that he has the 4chan boards /c/ (Anime/Cute) and /u/ (Yuri, NSFW) quickmarked on his browser, as well as danbooru.

(For context, the browser is qutebrowser. The quickmark menu is a list of aliases you manually set up for certain URLs, so here's he's set it so that he just needs to type `/u/` to resolve it to the Yuri board's address.)

I've clipped 00:50-01:10 so it's at 00:09 in the attachment.

The moment you hear the word community in relation to something which has sod all to do with people physically living together, that's when you know what you're using is on borrowed time. When idiots mix with autists, things get fucked up, but when everyone is left to operate naturally and pursue their passions, great things happen.

I can name plenty of proprietary commercial products people use every day with similar issues as a result of the c-word, so keep on using the FOSS you're comfortable with, regardless of politics.

I love how he doesn't link to a specific instance of the "personal identifying information" so we can't even fact-check his claim.

There's a pronouns feature for Exchange. Ironically when I tested it on a tenant a while ago, it did not work.

They're really getting high on that troonshine. I believe in total freedom of speech, but it's still going to be so sweet when these despicable faggots and their makers end up on the other side of this.

@ariadne This is good news. Besides doxxing they were spreading misinformation.
Misinformation, in our democracy?

I'll go see now if I can read about this anywhere like, say, Hacker News.

Late addition: I found nothing about it so far over there.

Their profile picture is interesting
Oh hey isn't that the exact same troon that was telling people how to fuck with Null's infrastructure by sending malformed BGP packets when he was using a MikroTik router and he had an even worse profile picture where someone compared it ot that anime monster?
