Someone please explain to me like I'm 5 how computer programming went from Ada Lovelace and Bell Labs to a bunch of socially- and mentally-stunted Unix eunuchs crybullying each other across the internet and living down to the ugliest stereotypes of nerds.

That is actually very common in troon projects.
They can not create something new. They can only infiltrate and corrupt existing projects.
Like how they imitate being a woman, their projects aims at imitating other projects.

Be it software, movies, comic-books, board-games, ...

Troons are incapable of making any net positive changes or activities. They can only tear down and destroy. They are corruption.

Honestly, the only actual woman programmer who is worth her notoriety is Grace Hooper (lead engineer on the COBOL language). Say what you will about COBOL, but it's a batch processing language that is still running on mainframe systems everywhere. If you've ever worked in it, you can also see the beginnings of what might have inspired SQL (just my guess, no sources on that).

Thanks for the info. Also, that blogger seems to have privated their entire blog. I get he was bringing up some controversial takes, but somehow I get the feeling that isn't what made him bitch out, soooo what gives?

EDIT: Ah, he was a manosphere autist. Classic. I must say, impressive he can recognize when patterns in historical records don't add up, but tragically it's clear he was too busy doing his research and sperging about tradwife crap to look in the mirror for five seconds.

Unironically yes. It's only two extra clicks (or one keyboard shortcut really). As noted by Hex there also is a more proper shape tool anyway in the filters menu. I won't complain though once (if) they finally stop making design choices that expect the user to be as autistic as they are, which seems to be the way they're going.
